I know some of you are wondering what i paid for these spotless speakers. I picked them up at a thrift store on their half off end of month sale. 15 dollars for the pair.
One of the best speakers Pioneer made(HPM series) What is wrong with Pioneer, come back out with this line with better grade materials available now a days and BAM! Instant success....AGAIN!!!! I have owned these, the 100's, the 500's and to this day regret I didnt keep them :( thanx for the video, looks like they have a good home.
@pkracing50 yeah they found a good home. They looked like new. Right now I have a set of realistic T 200's up for sale on ebay and they have a lot of people watching. They were made back in the late 70's when they had higher standers. Now of days everything is made cheap and not made to last.
I like Pioneer HPM series , You had a nice pair of HPM 40. By my side i got 4 HPM 100 and after fix them i am prepared to sell them too ... Nice vid about them guy!
I already sold this set and the guy was very happy with them. I picked up two pair of AR speakers I need to replace the foam surrounds before I sell them. the one set is like a set I had before that I sold for 150 and the other set I saw a pair on ebay sell for 200 the other day.
@MrCanadianPride sorry i dont check these often. I sold them for 200 because they were spotless. Now if they would of been marked up or had any dings they would of went for a lot less.
Huh, the poor microphone on the camera is melting down. ;) I'm looking forward to picking up a pair soon, to replace/compliment a pair of vintage Claricon Air Suspension speaker I have.
