When are they going to make a Sgt peppers like record? Sure they can write the pop numbers but they seem to lack any yellow submarine like tunes....after this many years it shouldn't be that hard to start experimenting with weirder stuff for them...they have a fan base that might get it and who knows what the critics might say but who cares?

who cares if its simple lyrically, it fits in context with the album "bandwagonesque" and the drums and guitars sound really fresh and funky. i also think its a little sarcastic lyrically as well. Aside from that the two guitarist on the left on right are also lead singers of this band, they have 3 lead singers and their early period was brilliant! this TFC was one of the best rock bands that ever lived.

the amazing thing about this band is their ability to write spoon bending bass lines and the drums and vocals are always so lush ...wonderful band. i have to say i do prefer their heavier output, its just feels more alive to me and you can dance to it.

Been listening to this record a ton lately. It's aged really well. But I did discover TF LONG before Badfinger, Big Star and that magnificent Chris Bell record so I kind of did the power pop thing backwards.
