The UK doesn´t have the best car seat usage in the world and the RF recommendation to 9 months is not good enough. Still Europe incl.the UK has car seats with a 55 lbs rearfaing weight and 46" child height (18" torso)capacity! 4,9 is 142 cm. UK children are required to use child car safety equiptment until 5ft 1 = 154 cm.
Scary to see that you recomend FORWARD seating from 9months! In norway it`s recomended rear facing up to 4-5years! It`s 5 times safes to travvel rear facing than forward.
I know this is the recomendations in UK, but it`s scary to see.
YUP, but the recommendations have since changed in the UK. Now there is an RF until at least 4 years old recommendation. They have the seats for it now, which go up 55 lbs rearfacing

The U.S. has WAY better rules about this. 4'9..NOT 4'5 and rear facing until 33-35 lbs!! NOT 9 MONTHS!!!!
