Ahhh... The launch site on top of the hill is called Tintin, because there's a telecoms mast nearby painted red and white like the iconic rocket in Destination Moon. Unfortunately I didn't get a shot of it with my camera, but if you were searching YouTube for videos taken at that launch site, you'd search for 'paragliding Tintin'. Sorry... no Snowies or Capt'n Maddock, here!

Thanks Karidies, but it's really the place that's beautiful. We'd like to be back there now! The paragliders cant do much flying here in the winter, and our skies usually look nearly as dark as the sky in your video of the Greek fires.

The day you filmed the smoke over Epidavros happened to be the day some of us arrived there. We saw fires on the hills outside Athens, but it was difficult to understand exactly what was happening.

It must still be a tragedy for the people who suffered.
