hey my headphone jack does not work, i have tried everything i can think of for it, is their a special driver i can get to make the sound go through th headphones when i plug them in?

they did get the internal headphone jack working but the mic still does not work though in osx! :)

yes, the webcam does work in Photobooth. i'd recommend using the windosx86 installer. :)

do clarify that it depends on the bison webcam firmware if the cam will work out of the box or LAGGY and unusable:

ver0.2 usable

ver0.3 NOT (most u can do is use camtwist and Iris....but not photobooth theres a 6-7sec lag time)

theres also a way around the headphone jack (got mine working)with a simple file and 3 commands on the terminal

i'd give the guys working on the audio/mic jack about 3-5months and they will get it fixed

aside from that nice vid and great tutorials i used them for triple booting (currently want to quadboot XP,WIN7,OSX,UBUNTU.)

i read up that ubuntu has to be last installed for the GRUB

Or can you use a bluetooth mic e.g. one that is used for cellphones? If so can you have Bluetooth and WiFi turned on at the same time?

Thinking of getting a Wind for my Mom but she'd want to use Skype & the webcam and would be better using OS X than Windoze.

you can use bluetooth headset or the usb wired headset like i used :)

yup, you can have both bt and wifi on at the same time; should not be a problem. i'm a fan of wired since you don't have to charge it ever or repair it :)

i got one 3 of em. My first one was 20 bucks and then i bought 2 differnt ones for 5 bucks. same quality same chip.

Great for osx on pc's with non compatable soundcards
