Awesome!! Very good job of showing how to measure production rate. Now if you had stan meyers resonant circuit trick figured out, this might just run a car. At least a lawn mower. Hope you're still working with this. Any progress lately?
You said that you were running it at 35amps to start with ? - well you cant run it on a 12volt car battery as it will kill it in a matter of minutes. The amps are up high because you are using too much Electrolyte, try using 1 teaspoon of it and your amps will drop dramatically using 12volts that way it can be used in a car - you may not get 1ltr per min but it will run cooler and longer in a car as a fuel saver unit
Great Presentation, very informative, thank you. Are you running straight tap water, distilled, and/or addative. Also is the solution heating up at all over time ? Thanks again, all the best from down under.
I am Using RO filtered Water with NAOH as an Electrolyte About 1TBS/ Liter. The cell will only heat up if you use more than 2.25 Volts/ per cell or plate space.
The plates are very thick .1046 12 Ga Stainless for rigidity there is two layers of United States postal service packing tape between them on each end. I measured the thickness after applying the tape. It was .1051 with two layers.
I had trouble with only one layer with the plates shorting out. Also you cannot tighten the screws holding them together extremely tight. Only finger tight. I also have a 50 Amp fuse in-line with the pwm module so if I have a problem. I won't have a fire.
nice work. I believe it's possible to run a 4 cylinder engine on about 10L/min. But that's just my opinion. others say it takes more than 150L/min! just to idle.
i like that container, i may have to get one of those
There are two versions of this container one I purchased at Bed Bath & Beyond and this one at Wal-mart. The one at Bed Bath has a lid that doesn't seal very well and the seal is narrow. The one from Wal-mart the lid has a wider seal and a double wall on the lid. I Cut second top wall out to mount the fittings. if you wanted to you could fit the electrical studs and fittings in the double wall an then fill it up with a resin for extra strength.

Oh sweet jesus. Stop calling it HHO....... It's regular hydrogen and oxygen.... nothing magic.
With that said, I do like your setup. You are collecting a pretty good bit of data which is alot more than I can say for most HHO advocates.

amps bounce because the hho bubbles on the plates weaken the conductivity between the plates

Where can I get one of those jars? Did you buy it like that or did you drill holes in the top to attach your tubes for testing?

Your meter on the right is measuring current from a shunt, right?
Thanks.

Yes I calibrated it using my fluke its very accurate. The Cheap Cen-tech is another matter. Its Ok for what I am doing Its 1MV/ Amp.
