This video I think is of the Dunedin trolleybusses. From memory the Auckland ones were Green and the Wellington ones were red

The last video of the green and yellow bus I think was owned by Otago Road Services

007pmurphy. Correct, they are Dunedin's trolleys. I do not think the Otago Road Services bus is A Worldmaster Royal Tiger. I have a picture if anybody wants one.

I was lucky enought to have a go on a trolley with the late Ian Little.

Yeah, I think you are correct actually. The Auckland trolley's remind me the beautiful AEC Regal Mk 4's we had in Christchurch.

My grandfather worked for the Auckland transport board and drove the trolley buses

Yep, that last one looks like one of the Leyland Royal Tiger Worldmasters - DCT had a number in the fleet, built in 3 different variants (short, mid and long wheelbase). Hard to find deails on this units these days but from memory the very last units served until 1986/87.

The last bus is a diesel bus just South of Green Island. The road it turned down led the way to the local Tip. This road is now closed. I think the bus is a Leyland.

Probably a Leyland Royal Tiger/Leopard or a AEC. Not sure but definitely one of these, local bodywork though.
