007pmurphy. Correct, they are Dunedin's trolleys. I do not think the Otago Road Services bus is A Worldmaster Royal Tiger. I have a picture if anybody wants one.
I was lucky enought to have a go on a trolley with the late Ian Little.
Yep, that last one looks like one of the Leyland Royal Tiger Worldmasters - DCT had a number in the fleet, built in 3 different variants (short, mid and long wheelbase). Hard to find deails on this units these days but from memory the very last units served until 1986/87.
The last bus is a diesel bus just South of Green Island. The road it turned down led the way to the local Tip. This road is now closed. I think the bus is a Leyland.
haha,the 1970s were soo cute,primitive but cute

Thanks for putting this up. It’s great. They’re so quiet compared to the diesel ones.

This video I think is of the Dunedin trolleybusses. From memory the Auckland ones were Green and the Wellington ones were red
The last video of the green and yellow bus I think was owned by Otago Road Services

Nah. Best lookers by far were the Auckland BUT 9711 buses. Numbers 5 to 59

Yeah, I think you are correct actually. The Auckland trolley's remind me the beautiful AEC Regal Mk 4's we had in Christchurch.

Probably a Leyland Royal Tiger/Leopard or a AEC. Not sure but definitely one of these, local bodywork though.

Great video, with historical footage. What's the last bus though? Doesn't look like a DCT one ...
