i went to a game and this lad had a good painted army so i picked one up to have a look so did 2 of my mates he said "get off them, you wouldn't like me to touch ur stuff" i said "touch my army i dont care" so i had a game 3 vs 3 me and my mates vs him and his brothers we won he was devastated he tryed to say we cheated but the store owner said it was a fair game so the person went home but his brothers stayed and had a few more games with us it was quiet funny :)

@jawaballs No, I just made some of the terrain there. Adam, the store owner, let me bring some of my buildings, trees and stuff to show off. He liked it so much he actually subbed some of it in, in place of the normal terrain.

hey i am starting a space marine army and i am wondering where the best place to start is like what models to buy firlst you know stuff like that so any advice would be helpful thank u

@shadowsoldier48 Hey man, first off welcome to the hobby! A good way to start w/ Space Marines is to buy two tactical squads and a Commander right off the bat so you can get some games in right away and figure out how you like to play and where you want your army to go. Hope that helps!

@shadowsoldier48 grab the AOBR boxed set. you get rulebook, Captain, Dread, tactical squad, and terminator squad for between $60 and $75 depending on where you get it. (this technically isn't a legal army but as a new player most players will gladly play with you and help you out with strategy as well as learning the game.) On top of that get the codex, play a few games and figure out a play style, then just go with the units that work for you.

@shadowsoldier48 Usually I bump my army up by 250 point increments. Ie, start at 500, bump up to 750, then 1000, 1250, 1500, 1750 etc. this allows you to look at your army at a whole at one level, and strengthen your weakest area. If at 1000 points your army is lacking some anti-tank firepower you could add a landraider or a couple preds to give it that extra punch at 1250. Also this will keep you from having a mountain of models to paint at one time and will be easier on the wallet.

Are you kidding me? Winds of Chaos is way better...wounds 4+ no saves, glances vehicles. Chaos spawn works 1/3 the time adn you can clobber it for kill points.

@Itgiger You get invul savs vs perils, and if you make it, you have to roll it again. Is the model removed? I don't know. But I believe it is just a wound. And please don't use naughty words on my channel, young kids read this, including kids from my classroom.

@jawaballs 100% correct. states it very clearly in the codex that if you fail you just take a wound. if they died instantly then Eldrad would be the most powerful unit ever with every other psyker having to take psychic tests on 3D6 with perils on a 12 or more.

"The Psyker suffers 1 wound, with no armour save or cover save allowed. Invulnerable saves are allowed, but the PotW is so great that a successful save must be rerolled."

Imho, green *could* be a very common colour scheme for Tau since there's an explicit separation of parade colours from field colours.

More shots of the board would have been nice. I reckon it's hard since you yourself want to see exactly what your opponent does.

However shaky views of the top side of the board is not that nice to look at, I ended doing other stuff with your voice on the background, just listening to you (and it didn't matter since there wasn't that much to see).

Shame on the results though, would have wanted to see you win that tournie :D

Any Model with the Mark of Tzeetch may use two powers in the same turn even if its the same power haha my friend who plays 1k suns makes that ever so clear!

Naw man even the bolt of change can be used twice, and that is a shooting atack that causes some damage even so i think that that power isnt a shooting atack i think its just a generic psycic power but idk i dont play chaos so idk haha
