  • They were on the steps of a federal building what do thy expect?

  • Me and my friend are in this at 1:15

  • nah my buds friends are skin heads

  • why would be friends with someone who has skinhead friends? doesn't that make you question the character of your friend if he associates closely with racists?

  • sorry man i got carried away at some dumbass nazis.

    damn i agree with you

  • I'm glad you agree with me. Just one gripe. I don't think people should casually toss around comparisons to Nazis and Hitler, etc. Bush is bad and plenty of Americans are pretty bigoted and terrible... But what's going on is nowhere near what happened with Nazis... not even close.

  • could have been like V for vendetta.

  • Don't ruin the anti-war movement with violence. The US army and police are the most powerful in the world. There is no way that they can be taken down through violence. BE MORE CLEVER IF YOU WANT TO WIN!!

  • in the end of V for vendetta there is no violence besides a building exploding. good movie.

  • Why would you want to blow up the Capitol building. It's a beautiful building. Congress would continue to function without it and if you're really gonna stop the war it's gonna happen from inside that building anyhow. Why destroy art. The congress inside will change, the building is art.

  • i dont want anything to blow up. i was talking about the movie.

  • At the protest there were lots of people trying to incite violence talking about molatov cocktail bombs and guerilla warfare. What idiots! They bring shame to the peace movement. As if the cops have anything to do with the war anyway. They're just tools.

  • its all about symbolism you fuck head

  • First of all... don't call me a fuckhead. I made this film and did more for this particular side of the anti-war movement then your trivializing remark.

  • Second of all... it's not all symbolism... there were plenty of people calling for violence, to "bum rush those fucking pigs" to "throw molotov cocktails"... etc... I had to talk them down myself so I know.

  • Finally, while I appreciate the symbolic gesture, and my film helps with that, I'm not sure if getting arrested is really the best thing practically. On the news it says "200 arrested at protest" with images of cops dragging people (which were somewhat staged). This might cause people to be scared of going to protests and demonizes the police who were relatively non violent.

  • Better symbolism would be "200,000 rally peacefully against war". If you were talking about the symbolic gesture of blowing up the capitol, that's plain childish comic book non sense. In reality we'd get harsher laws than the PATRIOT act in return. Better to occupy the capitol with revolutionaries than to blow it up.

  • I think people "coming to get arrested" are really more full of themselves than anything. "I got arrested to stop the war. I'm so devoted. I'm a martyr". They might as well say "I paid 2000 dollars to the war today". The only really effective symbolic arrests were those of the Iraq Vets.

  • Easy big fella

  • yea..i got a little carried away i suppose. how bout dec. 30th?

  • They volunteered to be arrested by jumping the police barrier.

  • Was this act of disobedience a success or just a fat paycheck for the police department? Should the protesters have initiated the arrests as a symbolic gesture of defiance or should they have stuck around until dark and waited for the police to come get them? Did this event help, hurt or do nothing towards ending the war?

  • The continuing pressure of these types of events causes the cowardly Democrats not to end the war but to impede it, gauranteeing more deaths on both sides.

  • thats so fucked up.

    thanks for sharing

  • The police better fucking grow up and realize whos side they are on... the people wont stand for this shit forever
