I miss Tony Harnell of TNT in this collection. I dont know a lot about musical notation and such, but he could outsing just about anyone when it came to high notes! Just listen to 10.000 lovers by TNT. :-)
2:16. Plant. were i to hear that in person i would most likely pass the hell out. 1:14 Buckley. were i to have heard that in person i would most likely fall in love forever.
@zorland876 Actually, Plant's note wasn't mixed voice at all. That G5 was a REALLY chesty note, nothing mixed about it, definitely pure chest. A good example of a powerful mixed voice note would be like Matijevic's, or even cornell's; both of those are extremely powerful and good mixed voice notes. However, if you look at videos of Cornell's vocal range, there are really good examples of him BELTING really great notes above F5 in pure chest voice.
@hadeskiller1 Not pure chest. Its chest mixed extremely well, hence why its called 'mixed voice', but pure chest is you natural singing/speaking voice. If somebody speaks naturally like that, they are on the verge of dying painfully.
@zorland876@zorland876 i don't care that and i don't think so because the timbre of the voice of man will be always diffrent than a woman timbre and you know what? I found a man who can make notes in pure chest voice he is a chinese guy juts check it out.

@ivennein I know his name is Chang Yu Sheng. Dude's got an incredibly high voice, possibly the highest nature male voice (that is still ostensibly male). Again, not "pure chest". Mixed voice.
Jeff Buckley and Robert Plant seem like they are about the only two who could actually sing chest voice at this hight without just sounding like a glorious scream

some of them full, some of them not. most of them's feelings are falsetto. plant, matijevic, buckley, labrie, kiske are very very cool.
darkdark123 3 months ago
@darkdark123 The ones that are full as far as I can tell are Plant, LaBrie, Toshi, Cornell, Chang, Heimanand maybe Khan and Halford.

Mike Reno pulled off a monster G5 on "turn me loose" in full voice without sounding thin.
Icepacalapse 6 months ago
Plainly, Plant's G5 had hair on its chest.
badpdx 7 months ago 13
@badpdx Heiman did it with hair on his face.

Chang Yu Sheng's had one great pair of pipes on him. It's a shame he died so early. :/

@zorland876 Wait, so ANY kind of altering of the voice that isn't just like your speaking voice is considered mixed voice?
hadeskiller1 8 months ago
@hadeskiller1 Uh, that's extremely broad so I know I'm opening a can of worms, but essentially yes.

I want see a man Belt a Higher Than a F5 i mean "belt" or In Full Chest Voice not mixed not falsetto not head voice.
ivennein 8 months ago
@ivennein No such thing. The only males who could chest belt fifth octave notes don't sound like men anyway.

@ILuv2BU Chest? Hardly guy gets high G in any kinda chest. Buckley's especially is blatant falsetto.

esa no es la voz de Daniel Heiman, estas equivocado. Ademas el no utiliza falcete, con su voz natural alcanza esa nota facilmente
heomar 1 year ago
@heomar I'm sorry I don't speak Spanish very well, are you saying that that is not Daniel Heiman? Cause I can assure you that it is.
And that is definately full voice. That's actually one of the most naturally full notes in this video.
zorland876 1 year ago
@zorland876 hear well, not the voice of Daniel Heiman!
the voice of the video is a falsetto.
heomar 1 year ago
@heomar Even if it is falsetto (which I'm quite sure it's not) its still Heiman, and its still a fantastic note.
