The combat of GU flowed alot better, you weren't constantly shifting between the menu to activate skills, it really broke the flow of combat. GU I could go in, do what i needed to do and go out with minimal menu use
IMOQ was only fully open unless you were in the field, in a dungeon, you were locked in until the fight was over.
Gorre like stated earlier was made to study human cruelty, so what wouldn't be the best thing to study but a feuding brother and sister. I mean just look at how Saku treats everyone including her brother Bo. Excellent example
i hate this gorre honestly, i just think that gorre would be the cruelty, kids aren't cruel, they're cynical, they don't the difference, real human cruelty comes from the old and expierienced, the war torn, etc.

OMG I finally found it! I always kept this theme up on my desktop. They really need to come out with more Hack games. The only thing they should work on is the repetitiveness, but the overall gameplay and actions make up greatly for it. I flipped this game in 2 months. Its that addicting. I love this song.

"Intertwined by the Gods! Gorre!" this sounded quite nice when I thought of Sakubo's Summoning Phrase o.o but who knows someone could think otherwise.
i like the gemini feeling I'm getting from this. it'sshows how childish sakubo is in some part, but also the conflict between btween the two personalities is shown in this.
honestly, i'm going to have to read the manga to understand how .hack finally ends since I don't have a PSP.
Though to give GU a bit of credit, Haseo does have SOME complexity to him, if only cause of the fact that Haseo is Sora from SIGN.
Ovan being the only other true complex character in GU, which I pray that he has some sort of closing for him in Link especially considering the ending you get for going through the Forest of Pain.

@Trent957 Your points make me wish they'd remake a movie or game (the latter now impossible) for IMOQ. Meanwhile, all we get is Link if it even GETS released outside of Japan w/ or w/o the extras (I live in the US). It's like having Storm 2-bigger character roster but huge downgrades from the originals.

I've only played a little bit of the IMOQ series can someone tell me how epic this game is because I'm reallying dying to get it I know how to get games like this too.
I'd reccommend you play through the rest of the IMOQ series before you play this one. Don't get me wrong, this series is amazing, but after playing it, you won't want to play through IMOQ because of the combat style (that's how I felt at least). As for this particular song, it does seem particularly fitting of those two, though I'd expect more of a feeling of "spite" in it thanks to Saku.
It could mean that She / He could be scheming to save Her / His Friends but the pressure drove him to madness, and the lowering down of the Key Notes could signify that.

You know, I never managed to dodge Bo's super move. I never minded. It was always funny to see Skeith go flying and they both just sit there waving. I think Bo even says "Farewell!" In a good-hearted tone.

I still think they're really cute though. When they wave goodbye to Skeith, it looks like they're just having fun. That's why this fight was so enjoyable. :D

I haven't gotten any endings yet... I'm only on volume 2, and I don't have 3 yet. I never played volume 1, I watched the whole thing instead. I wish I could've fought Macha.
You'll get what I mean about Bordeaux when you beat Volume 3. :P
A lot of the Avatar battles in Volume 1 were epic... actually, Volume 1 was just an epic introduction to G.U.'s story. XD My favorite Avatar battle in Volume 1 was Azure Flame God.
Fighting Victorian... it may be the toughest AIDA, but there was just something so... satisfactory about pounding Sakaki's skull in, especially considering what he's done up until then. XD
I thought it would've been cooler if Macha flipped inside out, making the flower spread out while she's in the middle. Then, huge wings appear and have those weird DD crystals on them, and then the DD gun forms on her wrist.
@map1004 this is not the hardest one the hardest one is before you get to the dark forms that head is a freaking pain in the ass, it will make you really mad and if you do not take a break you might lose your consule over the fight .
It's because Saku and Bo are actually one person, sort of. It's one of those "One body, two minds" type of thing. Bo is the one who created Saku, so since they are one person, if you fight one you fight both.

Anyone else thinks THIS Torrent makes a lot more sense AFTER you go back to IMOQ( I think it was Outbreak) and beat THAT Gorre?

It's not that hard if you approach from the right angle. It's better to dash to the side when Saku shifts to Bo. :P

Bordeaux is, indeed, rather frightening, but in Volume 3 she actually gives a coherent backstory and I just can't hate her anymore. XD
And yeah, I always loved Bo from the start, but it took me a while to warm up to Saku... her Promise ending is just lulz of the uber type XD
