Question : I have loved Punk Rock since the 70's and this song since the 60's, am I A. insane B. a genius or C. still in love with Judith Durham like I was when I was 5? or D. is this proto Punk? Answer : A, B, C, and D
great song we rode ponys in the 70s in the forrests of berkshire singing this song fab times we had freedom not rapped up in cotton wool by our parents ,the kids of to day dont live they exist in case the might bump their little self get outside and enjoy life like us thanks for the music .
I put my little baby to bed with this every night :) (i'm 25) the bit about ''all the little travllers are warm and snug inside'' always makes me well up!! xxx
@EmmaEmma888 My mum did the same (from about 26-29) it's one of my first memories. I can't really listen to the song without finding a tear in my eye :)
Another thank you! Glad to see this clip available once again. My dad used to sing (well, try to sing) this to me when I was a little Seekers fan in the 1960s. When they broke up in 1968, he had such a time explaining to this 6-year-old that there would be no more Seekers. Thank heavens for recordings and YouTube!
Thought I'd lost this video forever. So nice it's back on here. The violinist with the dark glasses is really cool. Excellent video from better times and better days!

Always sounds weird to me with a girl singing the lead - it was my dad who sung this to us. Thanks for the upload.

do we really have to belittle the modern times in order to appreciate this song?

Such a memory from my childhood, loved it back then, love it now. I sing it (not like Judith!) to my 14 mth daughter - it really calms her.

My wife and I never had children. But if we did, this is the song we would have put them to sleep with every night.
Well done, Seekers, well done!
