really funny! the only reason i saw this video was because my uncle sent me this in an email, witch he received as well, it funny the girl in the back row in the middle is my aunt when she was a little kid. its funny what you can find on youtube if you look hard enough.
I totally remember seeing that. I was like 5 years old when I saw that. I am 28 now. But it was one of my favorite skits on Sesame Street. Thanks for posting that.
Even at age 3, I thought this lady was an idiot. The "Exit" sign is right in front of your fat pie hole, lady! LOL! I guess there wouldn't be much of a sketch if she wasn't so clueless, though. ;)
Years ago, I took a make for stage and film class at a high school theater festival in Illinois and the teacher was the director of these films. He was a really cool guy. Apparently, for some time, CTW was commisioning the shorts for Sesame Street, and he made these! I can't remember his name and I only had him for a two day seminar, but he was really fascinating.
I looked him up. His name was Dr. Johnson. Cool guy. He used to teach theater at Loyola Uni in Chicago and I had some friends who had him for class. Maybe you can contact him and get some information about the making of!

Professionally, he has designed scenery for numerous local and national television commercials, SESAME STREET segments, and industrial films. He has acted professionally in Chicago at Victory Gardens, Touchstone, Organic, and Piccolo Theatres.
I remember this from when I was a kid! Now, decades later, it's even more of a laugh riot!!! The girl choking on the popcorn, and the boy dropping his own container!!! LOL LOL LOL!!!
lol that's what I was thinking. They should have had the kids watch on screen a projection of themselves being filmed while they ate popcorn, then they could yell at the screen "don't eat with your mouth full!". Or maybe not.

Love how they actually show a toilet when back in the day a toilet was considered taboo for television.
