  • Video pretty much nails it on the fucking head.

  • That 711 is on FOB Diamondback. Owned by a guy Named "brian" from Turkey. When the 3rd ACR came in they made him take the 711 sign down.

  • i fucking hate this shit...mother fuckers come back and act all bad ass and dont even fuckin do shit...camp corriegador was a shit hole..and then these mother fuckers act like they went to war..fuck'm..look up the Fobbit Music Video..explains them reaaaaal well..

  • The whole mentality of having suffered overseas somehow gives one bragging rights and a smug sense of entitlement to force their opinions WITHOUT HAVING TO PRESENT FACTS is extremely dangerous and if allowed will ruin the U.S. military with WHAT WRONG LOOKS LIKE.

  • WOW

  • Oh hell, anyone but the fuckin fobbits over there know this war is beyond mismanaged. 130K+ troops and only 30k+ routinely go outside the wire? What sense does that shit make? Inept zeros running the show. You know how many ammo dumps we see, call in and report and nothing is done about it? Yeah, thats right, the same artillery shells that the camel jockeys are selling to the enemy. Just laying on the ground, nothing being done about it. Bushie fucked us good alright.

  • One of the first videos i have watched that shows it how it is.

When i left in 03 the American commanders were making out like they had just conquered Iraq, It gave the troops the idea we kicked their arse, they let us take the ground so they could take our lives.

Its a sad state of affairs indeed. Keep up the good videos.

  • Interesting insights, BrianFH01, thanks for sharing and we'll try to factor this in to our thinking.

  • so much for bringing freedom for iraqi's... from one dictator to another one!

  • Technically, Iraq is now ruled by an "Oligarchy", not a "Dictator".

By definition, an Oligarchy is a small, privileged group that jointly controls EVERYTHING, and everyone else lives under them. Here the oligarchy is made up of contractors, corrupt politicians, and brass-hat generals.

Not that the particulars matter any --- the Iraqis suffer either way.

  • The Sunni are far better off than they ever let the Shi'a be, and are in any case making their peace with the new order faster than you might think. And it now turns out that Sunni Anbar province, with 20% of the population or less, has almost as much oil as all the rest of Iraq put together: about 100 bbl (that's billions of barrels, to you.) So don't cry for them.

  • Certainly the shrewd Shias are milking America for all we're worth as we have created a Shia "factionocracy" in Iraq. Our point is we should have rehired the Sunni-dominated Iraqi Army Soldiers right after the U.S. Army's 3rd ID took Baghdad and not moved into former dictator palaces. Then at least there'd be some balance of power instead of the current civil war. Thanks for writing!

  • Uh, the army was mostly conscripts, on 10-year stints, who were paid about enough to cover bus fare. Hated their officers, who were tribal pets of SH. For general background on how Arab armies "work", try this:

  • Weak ass pogs living better than I do in the states. But those people lived in the dirt before we got there. They want us to give them money and leave
