On the panic button, the siren works exactly like the stock VW alarm horn. So it switches on/off continuously. It's significantly louder than the lock sound.
The relay is just a regular 12v relay that is the same used if your wiring in aftermarket off road lights on a vehicle.
Per 4DIYers, the pin layout on the relay should be the following:
86 - switching power
85 - ground
30 - ground
87 - gm signal

Awesome upgrade, thank you! Two questions - does the panic alarm stay on continuously like on the BMWs? Also, what size relay is needed?

What's the box on the top of the battery?
With the 4-5 red wired and 1 black wire?
