@AaronWii1 Well, actually. Right after Zack and Cloud left Genesis, Weiss and Neo came to pick up his body. Somehow they were able to save him. I read on Final Fantasy wiki that that guy IS in fact Genisis. I doubt Neo survived inside Weiss since they basically "fused" together and Weiss is most likely dead.
@GodSlayerNatsu There's actually a good chance there might me a sequel at that time, cause the company said by 2017 they will re-release all the ff7 games (including the movie) and everything else that go's with it. And sense its right now 2011, I'm guessing right after ff13 verses released in 2012, they will shortly announce there being a sequel in the making for ff7 and probably release the game in stores somewhere around 2015-2017 or so. I don't know for sure, but let's just see what happens.

its not screwed, at the end of crisis core its shown that genesis was alive and wiess and nero both took him out of the crater(havent played it but thats what i remember from the vid) Secondly, if you collected the gfiles in-game youll notice that genesis was the one who caused underground too go beserk. I doubt hed be able to do anything in the damaged state he was in so that would explain why he didnt appear during the events of advent.
Dah... If they'll make a new story of ff 7 nothing would be better than returning Sephiroth... actually in AC all this Zack and Aeris stuff that cheered Cloud up was a bit.. well... stupid... Sephiroth is the only one who can resurrect himself many times... he is immortal... and Genesis can't even be compared with Sephiroth...
@Kiera515 Returning Sephiroth... again? The ending of Advent Children already felt like kind of a cop-out. Resurrecting him again is just dumb.
The only reason he was able to reconstitute himself through Kadaj was because Kadaj was already a Sephiroth clone (the original died in Nibelheim 5 years before FF7) who absorbed a large amount of Jenova cells, thus allowing Seph's consciousness to emerge before getting his ass handed to him.
Maybe Kadaj was his clone, but still, Sephiroth stays separate from the lifestream so he's not completely dead. And returning him would not be dumb cause in Ultimania Tetsuya Nomura wrote that he didn't show his full power... so he's not done yet... and also I've got a question... the fact that Genesis saw the Godess means he must protect the planet, doesn't it?
@Kiera515 Supposedly. I can't say for sure whether or not Genesis is a protector or a potential destroyer. The Goddess thing makes it look like he is, plus the whole betraying Shin-Ra, but this extra snippet seems pretty sinister to me.
Then if it's a destroyer variant returning Sephiroth would be dumb... but if it's protector then it would be right... cause protector from who if not from Sephiroth?
btw I think that's more a destroyer variant evenn though Nomura's words sounded more like Genesis would be a protector...

@oly355 - I've watched the movie (Advent Children or even Advent Children Complete) numerous times before, and it doesn't say '2 days later'. As a matter of fact, it says '498 years earlier'. But as I said, Genesis seals himself 4/5 years before DoC, and AC/C takes place 2 years after VII...
@FiragaJJC - Lol, to be honest, I really don't remember... But looking back through the comments, it was about the scene with the Northern Crator in AC/C, and VII, of which I believe I was narrowing down the gap in between that scene and the beginning of the movie... There's no real confirmation what the amount of time that passed between events was (the Northern Crator scene).
@694377 oh the time between ff7 and ff7ac is 2 years. because at the end of ff7, 500 years later they show redxiii and his children. at the beginning of the movie after the show redxii and his kids it goes back 498 years ago. it is there if you beat ff7 and saw 500 years later after the meteorite was destroyed. Square assume everyone played the game.

I've heard the English voice for him, in this Game, compared to Crisis Core. It got alot of hate because of it's "heavily accented tone".
I actually prefer it, the other voice actor (in Crisis Core) just sounds so lame, dull and boring.

well Weiss' lil bro Nero takes over Genesis' body :D I won't explain more because I don't wanna spoil you about what happens in the game ^-^ but yeah Weiss was this guy who wanted to join Omega (this Ultimate Weapon who destroys the planet when it's time has come blahblahblahh) and destroy the world, because he had had so much suffering, both him and Nero.

after the events of ffviicc when genesis was tooked by these 2 guys in the end he was asked to join a team wich i dont remember its cause so Genesis left and decided to seal himself into that sphere till the worls needs him again so if this video saws that he is back that means that there is some fight left not to mention that he is the last survivor of the 3 friends so now that the hero sephiroth is gone he takes his place also i think this vid is too many years later that cloud must be dead

OMG YES. Gackt voices Genesis soooo much better than the English dub guy. I'm so glad they changed his English voice actor in Crisis Core!! I can only watch this scene in Japanese 'cause the dubbed version ruins it for me XD

wat i don't get is crisis core should have come out before this because crisis core is about how the mako reactor and stuff got scrwed and cloud was still a wuss in crisis core but in the thats when he became all buffed up and etc and thats where he met tifa but i want to know is if shinra is dun scrwed on this one and director lazard is dead i think why is crisis core coming out after this like wtf the story line for final fantasy is messed up thumbs up if u agree

its not screwed, at the end of crisis core its shown that genesis was alive and wiess and nero both took him out of the crater(havent played it but thats what i remember from the vid) Secondly, if you collected the gfiles in-game youll notice that genesis was the one who caused underground too go beserk. I doubt hed be able to do anything in the damaged state he was in so that would explain why he didnt appear during the events of advent.

Dah... If they'll make a new story of ff 7 nothing would be better than returning Sephiroth... actually in AC all this Zack and Aeris stuff that cheered Cloud up was a bit.. well... stupid... Sephiroth is the only one who can resurrect himself many times... he is immortal... and Genesis can't even be compared with Sephiroth...

@Kiera515 Returning Sephiroth... again? The ending of Advent Children already felt like kind of a cop-out. Resurrecting him again is just dumb.
The only reason he was able to reconstitute himself through Kadaj was because Kadaj was already a Sephiroth clone (the original died in Nibelheim 5 years before FF7) who absorbed a large amount of Jenova cells, thus allowing Seph's consciousness to emerge before getting his ass handed to him.

Maybe Kadaj was his clone, but still, Sephiroth stays separate from the lifestream so he's not completely dead. And returning him would not be dumb cause in Ultimania Tetsuya Nomura wrote that he didn't show his full power... so he's not done yet... and also I've got a question... the fact that Genesis saw the Godess means he must protect the planet, doesn't it?

@Kiera515 Supposedly. I can't say for sure whether or not Genesis is a protector or a potential destroyer. The Goddess thing makes it look like he is, plus the whole betraying Shin-Ra, but this extra snippet seems pretty sinister to me.

@oly355 - I've watched the movie (Advent Children or even Advent Children Complete) numerous times before, and it doesn't say '2 days later'. As a matter of fact, it says '498 years earlier'. But as I said, Genesis seals himself 4/5 years before DoC, and AC/C takes place 2 years after VII...

But looking back through the comments, it was about the scene with the Northern Crator in AC/C, and VII, of which I believe I was narrowing down the gap in between that scene and the beginning of the movie... There's no real confirmation what the amount of time that passed between events was (the Northern Crator scene).

@694377 oh the time between ff7 and ff7ac is 2 years. because at the end of ff7, 500 years later they show redxiii and his children. at the beginning of the movie after the show redxii and his kids it goes back 498 years ago. it is there if you beat ff7 and saw 500 years later after the meteorite was destroyed. Square assume everyone played the game.
