Look as a bassist of 30 years and playing Metallica for 85% of everything I play every time I pick the thing up. Here's an educated scoop. Rob is the most talented and clean in his precission. Cliff is the most talented when it comes to music mentality and writing. With more years probably as clean as Rob. Jason is a good bassist but not as brilliant as the former two. He did however have a great 'get fucked' stage presence. This derives from thousands of hours of bassing Metallica religously.
