  • LOL

  • Hey man, tell us what you ended up drinking tonight! For me I had some moosehead but after 3 i just couldn't stomach anymore for some reason, so i had a bottle of spiced rum and pepsi. Hate to bash beer because i really used to love the stuff, but it's really starting to twist my stomach lately. Hope ya had a good new year!

  • oops just saw your vid of what you had lol! ignore this post. i'm still pretty drunk bahahaha ooooops.

  • Haha! Happy New Year!

  • my friend named her dog Brewster because of his affinity for Budweiser...she also fed my dog beer and my dog loved it...they called my dog "Dude" and my other dog (who didn't like beer) "Old Man" (both were female). I have weird friends...I admit it...

  • Dem has been beer tasting and hit the wrong video to reply...Dem will hit the right video and make a correct reply now...

  • LOL

  • Root Beer!

  • Root Beer ROCKS!

  • I haven't really been much of a beer drinker for the past few years. My favorite beers are all German. I don't actually have 5 favorites.

    1. Dinkel Acker Dark--Sadly, I haven't seen this one stores for years. (no longer shipping to The

    States?)

    2. Paulaner Hefe-Weizen--This is my favorite of anything I've been able to find lately. What's not to like about a beer with a fat, ugly monk on the label?

    3. Hacker-Pschorr Weisse--Like a strong Pilsner, I guess.

    (cont'd)

  • 4. Spaten Optimator--A strong, dark beer, yet not gross or overwhelming. Wow, I'd suck at writing beer reviews!

For more info on these and many more:

    w w w. tobp. com/review/country. asp?t=11

    (delete all spaces)

BTW, apparently the YouTube Nazis no longer allow us to type "em dashes" in comments. Curly quote were disallowed a few weeks ago. More character restrictions. Before long, just typing "com" won't be allowed, making it impossible to type such words as "COMplicated" or "COMical!"

  • Oh, MY BAD!

My #2 was supposed to read "Franziskaner Hefe-Weiss." The one with the drinking monk on the label. (See? I told you I haven't been drinking these beers much lately!) That's the one I recommend if you can't find Dinkel Acker...which I can't. (Oh yeah...we can't use the ellipses character anymore either!) Anyway, it's always fun to experiment with a wide selection of beers. I find that the German imports are always drinkable, so you can't really go wrong.

  • I've got a couple Warsteiner Dunkels in the fridge. They're actually pretty good. I'm drinking on a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale at the moment. I've got a pretty good buzz going. Expect a video by tomorrow of tonight's footage. It could get interesting. Haha

  • I haven't even had any alcohol tonight, but all this talk about beer...I might have to chill some German beers that I have left over from the hurricane. (They say that beer was the #3 item purchased by those in the Houston area who were preparing for the hurricane, just after ice and water. Hahaha!)

  • That sounds pretty cool. Thanks for the suggestions!

  • I;m from canada so im not sure my favs are available to you. 1: Moosehead 2: Alexander Keiths Indian Pale Ale (one of the stronger tasting beers)3: Smirnoff Triple Black (9% alcohol here in canada) 4: CPT Morgan Spiced Rum and Doctor Pepper (MMMMMmmMMm!) 5: Rockstar Vodka (Always drink 1 of these as my first drink, i find it makes my drunk better and faster)

  • Thanks for the suggestions!

  • well srry man dont really know i just drink had stuff 1s in a while i drink beer 1s in a while tho not likeing it

  • Don't drink...beer. Vodka head here. Good luck! Thanks, Grams

  • I'm more of a mixed drink person, but I'd like to try out different beers. Thanks!

  • Blue Moon,Heineken,Guiness,Killians Red,Landshark

  • I've got some Killians in the fridge. It's not bad at all.

  • I only have one: root beer.

    :-)

  • Root beer is the shit! Maybe I'll chug one for ya! :-)

  • *BURP!*

  • 1. Super Bock (Portugal)

    2. Carlsberg (DenMark)

    3. Heineken (Holland)

    4. Voll Damm (barcelona, Spain) - The strongest by the way!

    5. Guinness ( Ireland)

These are my top bears, not exactly in this order because some of them are really really good for me to decide!

  • Thanks for the suggestions!

  • I don't really drink beer, if I do its off the tap and local.

    Happy new year.

  • Happy New Year to you, too!

  • oh, "pißwasser" is a great beer. try this!

  • I've never heard of it. I'll have to Google that one.

  • LOFL!!

  • i don´t drink beer because i´m a douche.

  • Oh, come on! All the cool people are doing it! :-)

  • In no particular order: Blue Moon, Goose Island 312, Fat Tire, Becks, Heineken.

  • Thanks for the suggestions!

  • There isnt many australian beers in usa, except forsters, and no actual australian would buy forsters. But a beer that they do sell now, which you could get is Baron. The beers are Barons Lager, Barons Pale Ale, Barons ESB and ale brewed with Australia's native wattle seed called Barons Black Wattle Superior.

  • I've never even tried Fosters. I've heard it was nothing special anyway.

    Thanks for the suggestions!

  • Guiness, Newcastle Brown Ale, Stella Artois, Carlsberg Special, Red Hook.

  • Thanks for the suggestions!

  • Negra Modelo, Seirra Navada, Goose Island Pale Ale, John Courage, and Fat Tire.

  • I'm gonna have a lot of looking around to do. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a lot of these kinds of beer around here. Thanks for the suggestions!

  • Fat tire is soooooo yummmmmmy. :D

  • hey! ii like that watered down piss beer thank ya very mucho! ;)

  • LOL - I drink that watered down piss beer sometimes, too. :-)

  • Newcastle Brown Ale: Thin, but tasty.

Guinness Extra Stout: Stronger than Newcastle.

Saranac Pale Ale: One of my favorites.

Miller Lite: Better than most other macro light beers.

Samuel Adams Boston Lager/Ale: Good tasty American beer.

  • Thanks for the suggestions!

  • in no particular order:

    Franziskanner Hefeweissen

    Dinkel Acker Dunkelweissen

    Dos Eqis Dark

Strongbow (more of a hard cider than a beer)

    sweetwater420 is good too

aside from the top 2, I don't know if I'd put those in my top5 favorite's list, but I'd reccomend them nonetheless

  • Cool. So what are your plans for New Years?

  • cuising Nashville in a limo with my brother for his 21st birthday

  • Sounds like fun!

  • I imagine it will be

  • Wow, we must have similar tastes in these important matters (beer), as Franziskanner Hefe-weiss was my #1 replacement for Dinkel Acker, which I haven't been able to find in recent years.

  • I found a german restaurant in Nashville that actually sells it on tap

  • Dinkel Acher on tap? Wow! Pretty sweet! If I could find it on tap, I would likely be compelled to drink it regularly. Maybe too regularly.

  • My favorites, in no order.

    Rochefort, Chimay, Grolsch.

  • I've never heard of those. I wonder if they are imported here.

  • Chimay and Grolsch are, I think. They're well known beers. Rochefort I'm not that sure.

I'm glad I'm in Europe, makes it easier to get good Belgian, Dutch and German beer.

  • Cool! I'll have to check and see if I can get those here.

  • I'm more a liquor drinker when I drink...but when I do enjoy a brew...is either MOOSEHEAD (fave), Yuengling Light, or Wicked Petes Strawberry Blonde Ale FTW!! That stuff rocks!

  • Cool! Thanks for the suggestions!

  • I gotta think about this for a bit.. I'll be back

  • Okay, cool. How about sending me one of those homebrews? Is that even legal, going through customs and all?

  • Not technically, but where there's a will, there's a way.

  • Olde English 800 . Awesome when you want to feel " gangster " or English :) .

honorable mention - Coors Light . Goes down smooth , is about a dollar a can , and no hangover unless you drink 14 or more . JV

  • Cool. Thanks for the suggestions.

  • Busch light is the best cheap beer ever made . 15 dollars for a 30 pack and it's tastes pretty damn good. That's 30c a can.

Then my second fave is Michelob Ultra . Still a good deal at 1 dollar a bottle and it's low carb , can't go wrong .

Bud Select is another great tasting low carb beer , and it's also cheap . I'm seeing a pattern here .

Corona Light . I love the taste and it doesn't give you that bloated feeling that the regular version does . Expensive , so a treat now and then .

  • Favorite beers? Usually 2nd to 6th!!!

One of my faves is Sleemans no.20 Anniversary ale. Not sure if it's in the States. Sleemans Honey Brown, Alexander Keiths ale, Brewhouse Pilsner (mega, cheap!) Rickards Red.

Not that I drink much, or something!!!

  • Thanks for the suggestions!

  • They don't export those to the states at all. I've tried finding them since I was last in BC about 4 years ago.

  • Bummer! Keiths & Sleemans are especially tasty! Any Stateside brew compare tastewise?

  • Yeah, but they're all regional...you gotta hunt for them. Sierra Nevada, Stone, Odells, and New Glarus all make excellent pale ales and IPAs that give Keith's a run for its money.

And that being said, pretty much all the above breweries can go toe to toe with anything Sleeman's has to offer.

  • Cool! I like the independant breweries! Unfortunately, the Brews you mention are not here either! Darn border!

    But, bottoms up!

  • I like Yeunging(sp?) and Corona, boring yes but good.

  • I've heard that Yuengling is good, but I've never tried it. I like Corona, too. I drank quite a bit of it at SouthTube 2.

  • I heard the same, but Yuengling never really impressed me.

  • I have no beer reccomendations. I just wanna see your drunk video. :)

  • LOL - It should be interesting.

  • In no order...

    Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

    Stone Brewery Arrogant Bastard Ale

    Widmer Hefeweizen

    New Belgium Fat Tire

    Breckenridge Agave Wheat Ale

I recommend a slice of lemon or orange with any wheat ale or hefeweizen.

  • These might all be regional beers you can only get out west, so I'll give you some beers I like that I know you can find anywhere.

    Guinness Draught

    Newcastle Brown Ale

    Samuel Adams Boston Ale

    Shiner Bock

    And of course...

    Mickey's Fine Malt Liquor

  • Cool. Thanks for the suggestions.

What are you gonna do on New Years?

  • I have no plans...not sure what I'm doing. Everyone I know here are flakes.

  • you could've said Keiths!!

too late I just said it. ya can't go back.

Well you could, but it'd be lame. Just like this comment. :(

  • Keith's isn't exported to the US. I actually e-mailed the brewery.

  • I was reading about Arrogant Bastard Ale, but I don't think I can get that here. It sucks because I really wanna try it.

  • Check your PMs.

  • I recommend staying away from any beer in which you must add citrus to enjoy. If you add lemon or orange to your hefe, then you need to pick up a tube of vagisil while you're out. I'm just sayin

  • Shut up, you Campbell's soup lookin mafucka!

  • LOL!

  • You can go to Jolly Pirate's Donuts and take a 2 hour shit for all I care

  • This just in...apparently nobody gives a SHIT about Bigfoot, so FUCK 'EM!!
