This was how I used to clean my brushes too (shampoo + olive oil) but unfortunately, it ruined my etude house stippling brush. The dye bleed and ruin the entire brush and I can't use it anymore after that. sigh~!

be careful, hand soaps actually strip face brushes and make them dryer so try something gentler such as baby shampoo!!! hand soaps may be ok for synthetic brushes, but definitely not for natural brushes like bare escentuals!!

@superjess808 the bath and body works gentle handshop actually doesn't dry out my bare escentuals brushes~ it feels great =). but yes baby shampoo is also another great option that I wrote in my video info box

You should try Dr. Bronner Magic Soap All-One. This cleans my white goat bristle brushes spot clean like when I just bought them. The soap is around $7 for a big bottle at Target right next to Botanics booth in Beaut Section. After using this, try conditioning the brushes with regular hair conditioner for 3 mins. The brushes will much softer and less greasy than using jojoba oil or olive oil. :) Good luck
