I appreciate the artistry behind the tattoo, it really was well done, and I also appreciate her reason for wanting it...but it just irks me when people get something because it's pretty and not consider the actual meaning.

Idiot, they have to draw the design first. The only reason they stencil is because screwing up with a tattoo probably won't get you many happy customers. A lot of very professional and experienced tattoo artists sometimes freehand some extra detail in as well.

No anasthetic, and for some people it hurts a little and some they can't feel much if you absolutely wanted one a few hours of pain could be worth it, if you feel its not worth it then you might not like the tattoo in the end so really think about it.

Hi :) I agree that for some people tattoos hurt and for some it doesnt. But part of human survival instinct is that if we're exposed to the same type of painful sensation in the same area we block it out. So even if it did hurt it would become numb quite quickly. I was terrified of mine hurting but my tattooist did a tiny bit and asked if it was ok and I laughed!

Yes, yes they did! Lol. Tattoos only look cheap if they're done for the sake of having a tattoo. I don't think there's anything cheap about a tasteful, meaningful tattoo. I have a small one on my ankle that I designed myself, and I love it, because it means so much to me! People covered head to toe in tattoos do take it too far, but one or two that you've really thought about, and that you put your heart and soul into are beautiful!
