@thelasthallow Look at Gears of War, Battlefield 3, Alan Wake, Rage, Dead Space, Portal 2, etc. All of these games show that the Xbox 360 is much more advanced than the original Xbox.

Racing games are a horrible example, cause all you have to do is render the cars and tracks. Hell, the PS2 had pretty racing games as well (Gran Turismo 3 and 4), and that system is nowhere as powerful as an Xbox 360.

One more thing: Learn how to spell "you're."

Consoles have had an average lifespan of 6 years since they began. The fact that the original Live network was up for that long is impressive. The PS2 is a freak in that catagory because Sony won't let it go. Eventually the XBox360's version of Live will die, too, be prepared for it.

In those cases I would say we had come of the best developers back in the days of Gamecube instead of today's shovelware Wii titles. If we were to compare raw numbers XBox was the beast of the generation. Its all in how a developers uses the technology. GCN and XBox brought out games a PS2 couldn't render.
