Like you, mattyturner100, I was also at Bournemouth and I was probably in the incident that you mentioned. I ran back to my digs and hid in a garden shed and escaped being beaten. The riots were really unfortunate but the match and the weekend were absolutely first class. I will never forgoet that weekend as long as I live. Strangely enough, being promoted form the second tier was better than winning the First Division Championship. Dave

Me and me mates was at the bournmouth game in 1990 and were haveing a good laugh and a sing song on the friday night by the sea front with about 200 leeds all peaceful and in good sprit. Then the police started too baton 2 lads who were court short by beach and it kicked off.We wen't back to our lodgeing's and on the way were batoned by officers for fuck all.People seem to forget that. The bill were too heavy handed and leeds being leeds touble was inevitabul.
Fuck you, saying the hooligans are scum, ive got hundreds of pictures of the hooligans kicking the shit out of the old bill and trashing the place great Leeds fans LUFC.
I was playing for my local cricket team on Kings Park next to Dean Court that day, when several pissed up fucking idiots from Yorkshire decided to wander across the pitch.
We politely asked them to move on, the response was violence. Two of my team mates & an umpire were punched in the face, while others had the stumps thrown at them.
Those involved in trashing Bournemouth that day are total SCUM. You know who you are. I hope you all suffer a painful terminal illness one day.
Go fuck yourself. Your Leeds hooligan scum caused untold mayhem & damage in Bournemouth that day. I was one of many on the receiving end. How pleased was I that Doncaster left you lot to languish in League One for another year. Everyone in Bournemouth was laughing at you.
But I can assure you the people of Bournemouth were pissing themselves at your club's fall from grace to League 1.
Doesn't look like your fabulous team are going up again this year either. What a shame.
At least we've got plenty of coverage on Setanta to look forward to next season! You've got another season of drudgery & dreaming how good your club used to be!
2. We probably still will and you'll go down. No loss mind you - it's not as though you add anything to the game.
3. We have more televised games anyway, we can reminisce on the past and look to a bright future. On the other hand you can look back to when you were shit and look forward to the Conference and even lower attendances.
tezza whats your problem? you're prob one of these peopel with their head in the sand who's never seen a square up on a cricket pitch either. go have some candyfloss and a tub of prawns
Terry stop being so obtuse. Have you really been int he bournemouth sun that long that you don't realise Leeds were a small minority that day? Big fan of your town obviously and I admire that although the way you're crying I woudl have guessed you'd be more at home in brighton

I agree. But don't tar ALL Leeds fans with the same brush. The vast majority of us are perfectly decent, law-abiding, football-loving folk.

We should be laughing at you sitting near the bottom of League Two but we don't because you're insignificant.
