Companies literally beef up numbers no diffrent than the stock market its about advertisment mainly. corporations pay for exposure(advertisment) through riggin tv radio internet than there no is exception for a company to start hacking or signing contracts to make numbers appear bigger than they are to obtain more fans.

@kirtrevans Oh I can see where you're coming from, and it makes no sense that stuff like that happens either, like Lady Gaga and artists like that setting records for views and stuff. That's why there should be some media and other companies involved that directly balances with what IS plaed/shown, and what SHOULD be played/shown. people have to see both (or all) sides of hip hop, not just ignorance on a daily basis.
