I like how they had Yuji's other personality reflected in his Blutsauger, and Shana's normal form in her Nietono no Shana. It has a very deep symbolism and meaning to it.

Shakugan no Shana in a nutshell:

Season 1: introductions and intense fights. Epic ending

Season 2: love triangle, character building, emotional, intense fights, and more "problem solving". Beautiful ending

Special: side-stories, very well-told.

Final: full-scale war. intense fights. looking forward to my favourite part: god vs god. And ofc I'm also hoping for another epic ending.
