  • The magnifying glass is the prototype laser weapon for your giant robot, isn't it?

  • i love how your brother changed from sounding really depressed at first to being much livelier after digging the pond

  • cool video!

  • Don't go burning any giant ants with that thing.

  • No kidding. He was totally into that stuff!

  • Great day....Thanks for sharing the Bro is a cool guy...you take care

    Bo in Montana

  • lol, no chainsaw? did you cut that lumber down with an axe?!?

  • Seems like you have an awesome relationship with your brother :)

  • NINJAIMIE SHIRT PLZ

  • Hmm... you make a great team, building sumerhouses :)))

  • how is the water heater doing?

  • good.... according to my brother. :-P

  • where do you find a 4x3 magnifier glass? how mush did it cost?

  • find an old projection tv and take the screen out. From what I know about Jamie he found it at the dump.

  • heh heh. the place is called American science and surplus, and I got it for 70$.

  • nice sounds like pinky and perky trampolining

  • your little bro is cool man.

  • that magnifying glass could be quit useful if you're ever attacked by.... GIANT KILLER ANTS!!! ;) ;)

keep up the awesome vids man!

    YEAH GIANT ROBOT PROJECT!!! WOOHOO!!!

i'm quite hyper right now in case you didn't notice. lol yay for ADHD!!! lol

  • totally super excellent little brother

  • plywood + foam padding + plastic sheeting + hillside = WATER SLIIIDE

it wouldn't be too hard to use some 2x4's to force a curve on the plywood, then put foam padding over the boards so you don't catch yourself on any nails or splinters, then cover it all with plastic sheeting. Then you can put some PVC pipe along the sides at the top and poke holes in them so you can flow water down it.

  • I'm thinking of something more.... durable.

  • Hahahahah so fuuny.. I have been looking forward for the update :) Hahahha im getting a totaly "salker" lol

I wounder, what woud hapend if you took the magnetfieing glas and put the hot spot on the solar panel? Shoud it get more energy or woud it break?

Have fun guys! Looking forward for the chines food episode.

  • I think it would just burn a hole in the solar panel. :-P

  • Stirling engine heated by the magnifying glass and cooled by the water would be awesome. Those always impress me but dont know how much torque they actually produce.

  • Jamie your place is better than thing I have seen before. The way it keeps evolving really inspires me. I intend to find my piece of wilderness one day and implement many of the ideas you have shown. Thanks. 5*

  • Sweet! Thanks. Ya, I'm really happy with how its turning out. :-)

  • wow you're like MacGyver 2.0...MacGyver must have went to Jamius College or something.

  • Sean what a nice Bro. i hope he gets to come up and see you again soon. Maybe he could make a trickling water fall to come down into the pond.

  • MMMM sizzly pizza

  • Hey Jaimie! It's your favourite English chick :)

Hope your brothers behaving babe, let me know if Mary Poppins is needed :p

    Will email soon, Sam xxx

  • Did you ever get that hot water working from the metal cut into an ellipse?

  • sigh... never mind....

  • that looks fun! will you ever plant black berry's by the river?

  • i did not liked building things until i was around 13

  • coool 5/5

  • SOLAR PIZZA FTW!!!

  • Holy crap, that thing melts pennies? That requires a temperature of 1985 degrees fahrenheit.

  • or alot of time.

  • Pennies are only about 2.5% copper, they are now mostly zinc to reduce costs. Zinc melts at less than 800 degrees F.

The funny thing is, that for the past couple of years it once again costs more to make a penny than one cent. So the government issued a ban on melting pennies to protect them from people looking to harvest the metal. Watch out JME or you might get fined $10,000!

  • The internet failed me. I actually looked up the melting point of a penny because I assumed it was some sort of alloy rather than pure copper. Oh well.

  • nice... you made me wana skinny dipping in icecold water now...

  • arctic dipping? I thought that solar water heater was supposed to make it hot!

  • The end made me laugh. haha I love watching your vids Jaimie! I wish i was your little brother... I would totally be into building stuff. I'm taking Engineering my Freshman year of high school but it would be more educational just hanging out with you all day. haha

  • 5 stars for Spartaaaa!!! =)

  • Buffets are so the win!

  • hi, i like the solar part is it the same one from green power science website??

  • cool ))

  • I wish I was your brother!! :)

  • He''s gonna become a landscaper not a robot builder.

  • Lots of silliness, but that pond looks like a fun side project. Glad to see your solar heater is working well.

Have you given up on the hydro power plans you started a while ago, or is that still in progress?

  • Ok I must know where did the amazing magnify glass come from!‽

  • Marvin and the Chipmonks take over the trampoline!!

  • heh heh. ya, fast forward is funny.
