laughing at these people not knowing how to pronounce gallardo made you look even more dumb, because if you have even the slightest knowledge about cars you would know that ga-yar-do is the italian method of saying gallardo...thats why people call the countach, kun-tash not count-touch
What touge is this? I remember this one was in Hot Version Vol.49(included Tsuchiya's AE86 and a rally AE86 Levin) and some other Best motoring videos(which had a A-Spec GT-Concept FD3S)
@ jimbean99..what does spain have to do with murcielago? the lambo was named murcielago which means 'the raging bull' in italian..perfectlly goes with the car!!
you are wrong, lamborghini is using spanish names (from spanish bulls) for their cars but that comment is 4 months old while im replying, so you might know that already by now. thats why you dont pronounce the gallardo with a L like you would in italian but with a J. same story with the murcielago, which would be pronounced differently with an CHI like in Chile. btw im half italian so i know what im talking about =P
Don't like Mk1 Murcie but looks great in white - perhaps 19"/20" wheels in dark grey would make the car look even better. I'd get a Gallardo: Save some cash and get a more tossable car. Plus the attention in the Murcie might be too much...
really puzzling me, down shifts in the gallardo: why is he giving it a bit of gas at the same time? i understand with a boosted car keeps u in the powerband some what.. but N/A car.. ??
it's to match the transmission speed with the engine speed. This significantly saves the engine and gearbox, stop the tires spinning (like poping a clutch with the engine at high rpm and gearbox at 0) but also make use of engine braking. The maneuver is call heel & toe downshift. Search it if you want to know more. It's one of the fundamental & basic thing to do if you are to compete in motor sport or even driving spiritedly.
@russianmerc Giving any car some gas while downshifting makes the gearchange very smooth.Downshifting to a lower gear at high speeds without this technique will result in a violent jerk, even wheel lock if the car is very powerful. It saves the clutch and also is very much fun to perform. Google it and learn.
lambos are not true track cars. They are built more with status, looks, and power in mind over pure balance and handling. Ferraris will always be the better, more natural, track car. Lambos especially will not handle too well in the touge.
yeah SV would be great on a power circuit or high speed corners. Not so much on the tight corners of a togue. Although it saves 100kg from the original that's still 1500kg and a high C of G. Something you can't hide in a tight low speed track. Great car never the less.
I don't know why they want the Gallardo to be smaller. I've seen one and they're no bigger than a Honda Civic! An supercar that you can actually drive around town easily.
murcielago is better

lamborghini gallardo is so pretty, murcielago abit too long.. =(
but then cannot deny that murcielago has v12 engine whereas gallardo only got the v10..
lovExotiCars 1 year ago
@lovExotiCars I think the murcielago's problem is its head lights. They're so ugly compared to the gallardos.

@contaminate
Honestky, i think the exact opposite.
Murcielago's headlights arer raw, reminishent of REAL Lambos, such as Diablo and Countach,

revmatching is very important. Their professional racing drivers so used to revmatching on shifts.
