  • They used Alien 1 logo and Aliens 2 music. Badass.

    -

  • What an awesome game!

  • the memories >.>

  • the memories >.>

  • this game could have been CLASSIC! if not for the awful redundancy of the missions. it had it all--great graphics, zero framrate issues, amazing sound effects, the aliens!, and a stellar soundtrack that really made you feel like you were in the aliens franchise which really enhanced the tension and dread. still, its underrated. although, nintendo themselves did show some respect and rated it #100 out of 100 best games for NES, SNES, and N64 around the year 2000. Not bad for an LJN game.

  • it is very cool ,I have it for ps2

  • aliens 3 for megadrive is better

  • Weird, weird game. I'm sure I played it all the way through to the end, but remember never quite enjoying myself.

  • Thank you.

  • 1:12 to 1:35 - Hear the wonderful sweet soothing sound of the Klaxon horn!

  • At 3:53 it looks like she loses control of the gun.

  • Sega one is better

  • Seeing as how Metroid borrowed so much from Alien, I find it fitting that the game adaptation of the series is a Metroidvania :).

  • Its funny how the cutscenes on the Snes are just as good as some of the earlier nintendo 64 cutscenes. This reminds me of the cut scenes from star wars shadows of the empire on the Nintendo 64.

  • It was really good, but I guess I was looking for more of a survival horror adventure, not survival horror mission base. It doesn't make the game bad, but why do so many people beating around the bush where only the GameBoy and AVP giving us that kind of adventure gameplay?

  • Excellent game, one of the best in the Snes library - although I thought it was a bit cheap how the Alien Queens were just normal Alien sprites magnified by 10 times or so.

  • The dumbest part of this movie to me was that they killed off corporal Hicks straight from the beginning. He was so cool they should have at least given him a few lines before he died or something. It would be kind of neat to someone else besides Ripley survive for once.

  • @Tinfoil93 And they killed off the kid as well. All that hard work in the last movie? Might as well not have happened.

  • poor newt

  • I wish LJN had assigned the progammers who made Aliens3 to make Terminator 2. The SNES T2 game just did not do that movie justice.

  • A great example of how weak the SNES's processor was, SLOOOOOOOOOOWMOOOOOOOOO!

  • @mutronics1 Yeah, but still is better than that unbrainend action megadrive version :3

  • @aaronmaton yeh right mega drive version is much better game

  • wow snes was soooo slow comaring to genesis/megadrive.

  • Abuse on the PC always reminding me of this game. I liked the flamethrower and climbing the overhead bars.

  • i loooved this game, though as a little boy it became really hard in some parts at least for me

  • god this game kicked so much ass back then

  • So...do the Aliens actually attack you...? I mean, you have their queen inside you so...

  • Too bad my SNES is broken, this game was pretty exciting.

  • Probe entertainment did some bad ass game for the SNES back in the day... this is one of them!!!!

  • also they shud remake this for ds or remake it and release it as an unlockable bonus game on the new Aliens: colonial marines... but then again they might not have the rights to....

  • this version was way the coolest, in the other versions it was just about rescuing all the prisoners, at least in this one the graphics were better and there was a veriation of missions :) im a proud owner of this game with its box, manual and shit....even the plastic wrapper the cartridge is in. :)

  • Man I guess this game was pretty good for its time huh? I remember being bummed out returning it to the video rental store (you know, VCR tapes?)

  • fuck me, I was goin' crazy o this one

  • fav. game of all time

  • game looks good, but it seems that you have sum problems with the control:o r switchin weapons n aiming easy?

  • hey does anyone know how i can get the theme songs to this @3:46 i always liked this song but who composed it???

  • @Larry20088 Pretty good question. The game was developed by Probe Software but unless you see the end credits or find the game manual (I actually do have this, but in storage) I have no clue where to look that up.

  • @ShiryuGL

Or go to wikipedia and type : "alien 3 SNES"

  • @ShiryuGL i thought it was LJN (*the most nortorious game developers for making crappy games based off movies) who developed it?

  • @Larry20088 just look for it in torrents

  • This was a quality game imo

  • This Game was made by LJN, so i guess its a piece of shit.

  • @xxxInforcerxxx No its very good actually

  • A very, very good game...I remember playing it for 1 or 2 months to finish it....but anyway, I think this game should better been set in the ALIENS 1986 movie...everybody knows Ripley had no access to guns in ALIEN 3

  • u waste alot of ammo

  • and the nes one is also crap

  • alien3 the movie sukes the games are

great i like the one on sega genesis

super nintendo sega game gear and

the one on game boy was relly crapy

  • @MacgyverMike1 nes and gameboy, what do you expect lol

I never played the Genesis version but I also liked this one on the SNES.

  • Fuck I dont know which one I had. The first level if I recal had like hooks haning on chains in the backround/

  • Holy shit...

So many flashbacks. What a great game.

  • game over man!

  • wow, this looks amazing (for snes)

  • I still play this every now and then. I must agree that this one was better than the one on genesis.

  • I can see why people don't like this game, but I loved it. When I played it, I studied the blueprints at the computer terminals trying to memorize where I wanted to go. For me, I always felt an underlying urgency as if my time was limited and only having the ability to see the map at the beginning of a mission kept the tension high. In some ways it reminds me of Dead Space, but we sure are spoiled with maps and way points in games these days.

  • Ah Shit I remember this game.

I remember when one of the Marines said"

    Game Over Man"

  • Wow, the memories. This game was the shit. So damn awesome. lol Classic.

I found the SNES version to be far superior to the Genesis one. Better gfx, better sfx, better music, etc. It was badass.

  • I recently downloaded this thing and could still remember the password to the final stage! how mad is that! Me, who forgets everything useful I ever learn, would have to remember that

  • I actually liked this game. One of the best movie-based games on the SNES, and highly underrated if you ask me.

  • @LeviathanMist Definitely underrated; this looks and sounds amazing!

  • @LeviathanMist Propably because it's made by LJN

  • @LeviathanMist

    yes sir. you are right.

  • Alien 3 for Mega Drive is better

  • I agree with you it does :)

  • more like aliens then alien 3

  • @gregorio0123 there is an ALien game for NDS, looks pretty nice too

  • Couldn't they just make the "Aliens" game?It has nothing to do with Alien 3!

    And btw,the NES version sucks.

  • No, she kills herself

  • That game is the shit, Best SNES game ever made

  • hey uh, did the aliens kill the girl? well i didn't watch any of the movie

  • Yeah, and immidiately after that, they took Riplay to their birthday party. Everyone was happy, because the Alien Queen had baken some delicious caek.

  • @Kikunusuke

ummm...for real now??? the alien queen had baken a cake?

  • The Alien Queen Cake is a lie!

  • this game was class but i could spend hours playing alien3 gun in the arcade

  • i found this game fun

  • did anyone beat the first level?

  • ya bet the hole game over game

  • OMG i feel 12 again. What a great game.

  • Comment removed

  • Excellent game!

  • whoever playing looks like he is on paranoia, shooting grenades left and right just in case there could be an alien hehe.

  • In the 3rd film in that prison planet there wasn't any any guns and still in this game she has! Lol Nyhm moi

  • some games for SNES and Sega are still better then 95% of all hames for Sony PS and all those newest consols

  • "As Probe showed, you get all toys from the previous movie and off you go, baldy Ripley goes Rambo." Heck, and Ripley already went Rambo in the second movie, and I also played this game before... But it's not as good as Alien 3: The Gun.

  • The MegaDrive version is much better!!! This game here is to slow and has bad music!

  • I personally think the MegaDrive version has better music composition, despite a much more basic sound chip.

  • That's not what they posted over on the video of the Genesis version.

    "SNES version is much better!"

    What a crock.

  • awesome game - music, graphics, gameplay, etc.. i REALLY wish you could save though...

  • better then the nes version

  • was a great game, and graphically superior to other ports.

  • good game, not great. It had some really good concepts, but in the end it was a bit monotonous. I kinda felt like a low level engineer trying to get it all done only to find out there is more work to do. Like, "c'mon man. I just repaired that conduit." "WTF. another pipe needs welding, SHIT!"

  • Ese fue uno de los mejores juegos que he jugado. Cuando el SNES era en su época lo máximo. Sin embargo, comparado con algunos videojuegos de ahora, los cuales algunos no entiendo, me siento ....VIEJOOOOO!!!!!!!

  • yeah what he said

  • game over man!!!

  • This game is good, very good, but for crying out loud... It's so HARD! I remember playing this on an emulator, I could save anytime I wanted. I can't possibly imagine playing this game on an actual SNES without the ability to save... super difficult, all the corridors, enemies respawning, few ammo.. I think I completed the first two levels (sets of missions) and I gave up at the third one, it just got impossible to me.

Maybe I just suck, but seriously, I thought the game was utterly hard.

  • Alien 3 was pretty hard so you not the only one who thinks that.

  • This iis one of my all time fav games! I rember it getting well hard to kill the face huggers in level 5 whenn they turned blue n red. Stayed up till 4 inn the morn with my m8 watching my bro play it when I was like 9 years old (25 now). Quality!

  • I love the movie (assembly cut) and I love the game.

  • remember this being so much better than the mega drive version at the time

  • Does anyone know if a soundtrack for this videogame was ever released? If so, anyone has it? The music is so bad ass...

  • Hmm.... in fear of starting a fanboy war (which is not intended) i think this game could have been better...the snes had greater graphics then the genesis/megadrive...yet the megadrive 'Alien 3' was vastly superior to this...better soundtrack, faster paced etc...i like both games...but this one doesnt keep my attention for more then 10minutes. Definatly recommend the genesis version ;)

  • it may have been quicker but it had inferior graphics and sound, no intro and was extremely repetitive.

  • WWHHYY ARE YOU WASTING AMMO???

  • lots of good memories with this, the intro music is so much better than the sound in the movie. i think that the game is also too dark compared to the film

  • This game is one of my all time favorites..the music, the backgrounds, the sound effects..the popping of the grenades, wow did I love it back then! Sometimes in the holidays I dust off my super nes and pop this one back in along with mario kart and super street fighter II. Nostalgic. Great video!

  • some of these old games had style.

  • Man, this game is so fucking good.

  • the music is killer. yeah i hated that they killed newt too, but i still enjoyed the movie. considering how everything turned out, newt got the easy way out

  • they had to kill newt.... i cant imagine her being in the movie with all those rapist

  • i remember this game it was very good.

  • i used to play this game for hours

  • I wish the movie was more like the game.

  • i like this movie but i hate the director for killing hicks newt and bishop ah well idont care really but hick why hick why?

  • When i saw it hated that they killed off hick and newt. I think thats how you spell the name of the girl but don't give me shit if i spelled it wrong

  • no it is spelled newt

  • The director had nothing to do with any characters being killed off.

  • thanks for ruining it for me einstein

  • does it have multiplayer?

  • Currently playing this on my SNES Emulator, having a problem fixing the pipes through I'm in the right room since the pipes that need repairing have yellow signals on them, problem is when I walk in to them they dont seem to get fixed..

All you had to dead to recue the humans was walk up-to-them but with the pipes it doesn't seem to work anyone got any ideas?

  • You need to weld them shut, I think you crouch & use the flamethrower button (can't remember which button it is)

  • Wow. This game is a much better adaptation than Terminator 2

  • This game had great music.

  • thi is the kond of graphics and sound on the SNES that I still love. check out robocop vs terminator too

  • i have this game i still do 8D and it still works

  • the classic gameover man is muted, and i had my phone at the ready waiting to record a new msg tone

  • LOL

My brother rented this game like 3 times from Blockbuster. I think it was 1998 or 1999? Those were the good ol days. :(

  • Im looking for some scary SNES games..is this one good?

  • more-less

  • Nice into. Nice sound. Nice graphics.

  • i had this game on mega drive :) the graphics are better on this and i agree with the comment below me me that the mega drive gives you a more feel to the movie, given that it doesnt explain the story!

has anyone got a copy of streets of rage?

  • i lvoe streets of rage i still have it !

  • The graphics in this version were superior over the Mega Drive version but overall this game fails in presentation. The feel of the film is captured pretty well in the Mega Drive version and it plays smooth with the Aliens not wasting time trying to kill you. This version looks nice at first but it's just a clutter of dull slow moving aliens that do the typical get hurt when you are touched by them without them even showing any attack like animation. The game even plays ridiculously sluggish.

  • good sound/music and good graphics for those days. one of the good games

  • I like how you dropped all your grenades whilst running out of the Med Unit!

  • gonna crack out my usb pad and emulator tomorrow now, thanks for reminding me about how fucking BOSS this game was! i also loved how it used some of the score from aliens as well, the music out've the scene with the APC crashing through the air tower..amazing!

  • do the face huggers jump on you?

  • No, they just bumble along the floor in the same animation. All they do is hurt you when you touch them...

  • I still have this game. Now movie games should be good as this!

  • I have it too:D great times

  • I use to play this when I was six!!!! That was great game.

  • This game was great but so fucking hard at the end. little ammo and life to spare.

    A classic challenge indeed !!

  • sem dúvida um clássico dos games!!! obra prima!

  • Wow..the player sucks. I like the graphics though, and the sound. There's like infinite facehuggers in this game and the Alien here aren't that scary. They're more like pet dogs walking around the game and actually doing nothing

  • I Love That Music.

  • anyone know where I can find the last level of alien 3 for the snes as I want to watch it from start to finish, I never finished the game myself wasn't good enough:)

  • this game looks awesome keep posting this plz

  • I used to love this game, fantastic atmospheric sound and scary rock bloody hard game, stupid long winding awkward games, brilliant:)

  • Lovely, this game back in early 90's was the shit. Great game that was, one of the best I had ever played. And back then I didn't even spoke English, still it was very nice to play it. Creepy a bit, but very hard. Especially when you got do things that you don't know what they actually are, lol. Nice vid Shiryu, muito obrigado.

  • definitely the best version of the game

  • This game scared me a lot. How is the final movie of this game?

  • Aww where can I download this bad-ass game, thats very honourable to the movie. even the nintendo nerd has its poster.

  • I love all Alien 3 games. I started with Alien 3 for Nes and so far it has the best music I've ever heard in all NES games, but most entertaining is that for SNES. That game will never die!

  • first 2 are definatly better and scarier. Though Ressurection had it's perks. Hopefully if there is an Alien 5 then we'll get something amazing again.

  • I loved this game as a kid, and managed to complete it.

  • ma grand-mère à ce jeu, je me souviens, je mourrais tout le temps et ça m'amuser de voir la tête de l'alien du Game Over... Je devrais y rejouer

  • Fucking brilliant......

  • Great game, but how do I seal the door. Do I have to use a few canisters of propane from my torch to seal Corridor 1? Fuck

  • Walk RIGHT up against the door and then hit your Y button (hold it DOWN) and you'll seal the door. You don't use the flamethrower, you'll use a blowtorch that you never see unless you're repairing fuse boxes or sealing doors and crap.

  • Oh I see. Thanks for the advice.

  • Many hours I wasted exploring Alien 3.

    Better than the movie!

  • Alien 3 game!

  • Faster gameplay yes but SNES has intro and proper ending, better graphics, smoother controls and lasts longer. And the music is great, being inspired by the film.

And the aliens in the SNES don't rise from the ground.

  • The Mega Drive / Genesis version is more fun.

It's fast paced and arcade style. It doesn't matter if the Aliens rise from the ground or how many enemies are there. It's the game mechanics that count.

And the Genesis version has definetly it's own flair and unique charm.

  • But you can't deny the SNES version feels more polished both on graphics and gameplay. The speed of the game is what the SNES' processor allows unfortunately.

  • at 5:54 It looks like the fire is comming out of her but. they should have made a game for aliens

  • this pisses all over the one for the megadrive

  • Such a good game. It was totally over my head when I first played it, I didn't actually beat it until recently.

The 'Mother' aliens were kinda lame. That, and changing the colors just to keep things 'fresh' (blue facehuggers? come on!).

And the music was so intense!

You aren't very good, by the way.

  • I LOVED this game in the glorious Snes times.

I couldnt believe when i killed the Alien Queen in the sixth lvl, only to find a crappy ending u_u...

  • I had this game back in the early 90's and it was freakin' awesome for its time. From the great music, weapons, and huge maps, it was really a marvel for the SNES.

  • This one was way better than the one for Sega. I mean waaaayy better.

  • the eggs release multiple facehuggers?
