    thumbs up if recognize :)

  • My Gran was the most influencial person in my life. She passed years ago, but I can see her and her beautiful smile steaming from the clouds when i hear beautiful melodies like this

  • floydbiy youshould be commended for this beautifully apposite video; I'd forgotten how mesmerizig, and strangely healing, this song is

    thank you

  • I like listening to this song when there's been a heat advisory issued.

  • I used to have this cd as my alarm, what a way to wake up!

  • I used to have this cd as my alarm, what a way to wake up!

  • floydyboy69, thank you.

  • These images are great, they capture the essence of the track perfectly, and nice to see tributes to the brilliant and unique Sid Barrett & Rick Wright. Amazing music that will always live on....

  • lovely song. Pink Floyd: the Best of the world!

  • one of my favorites by pink floyd

  • great song, nice work on the vid!

  • Absolutely beautiful and totally magical. It takes you somewhere else.

  • Anyone else reminded of the movie "sunshine" ?

er, rather that the movie reminds one of this tune... :P

  • The birds where miming ;)

  • the song is as psycedelic as psycedelia can get , just cant get enough of that steel lap gutiar and synthesizers

just too damn genius for a modern world full of fools

  • totally trippy!

  • wow weird but cool as hell as always floyd is god

  • blasting this in a car is great. it'd be cool to see how it'd sound with an actual system in a car, or better yet, with a million huge speakers in a concert hall

  • Superb Video

    Éric From Canada

  • Been there done it lol!

  • Wow, this video is so good. If the shots of the band members were omitted, it would be perfect. Images to convey the music are all that matters.

This is such a good song, and always thought a video like this would be great.

  • wow very well done very nice excellent good job ********* 5555555

  • lET THE SPIRIT FLY AWAY...

  • Beautiful video, fellow Floyd lover. That song's timelessly gorgeous, much like the rest of their work <3 Fucking bliss.

  • Nature's favourite band is Pink Floyd. Amazing how perfect they can sound.

  • now you know how perfection sounds like.

  • Bird's singing is the same of Beatles records, from the Abbey Road nature's sounds files...

  • @fromunder73 and the rest was sent down from heaven

  • Ggggreat video!!!

  • I tattooed that song on me. this song is too much touching.

  • So dark and perfect without mentioning unexisting things like the devil :P .

  • Pink Floyd wrote "Dogs".

  • @BrokenChair88 Galko?

  • This is LSD, hash and mushrooms just as i remember them all at their very, very best.

  • Cannot beat the synthesizer, this sound is immaculate. Long live Pink Floyd

  • You cannot find a more diverse and great band such as pink floyd.

  • The sound at 4:14 always reminded me of Star Trek (original series). It sounds just like when the lever is pushed at the console for beaming someone up or down.

  • The sound at 4:14 always reminded me of Star Trek (original series). It sounds just like when the lever is moved at the console for beaming up or down.

  • imo wright is way too underrated. echoes, dark side of the moon and this song show his genius in creating "space"

  • First time I hear this song

2:03 God, it scared me O.O

  • Cirrus Minor and Grantchester Meadows were two of our favorite songs in the early 1970's when we used to trip in Frick Park, Homewood Cemetery, and Schenley Park in Pittsburgh. What lovely days they were!

  • @Cielamouroux you just made me so homesick. Lovely days indeed.

  • Wonderful! No words can describe the beauty of this song!

  • the keyboard arrangement isn't the same in the music "A Saucerful of Secrets"?

  • Love the Mellotron Keyboard in this arrangement. No modern synth can emulate this haunting sound - unfortunately!

  • exelent song, good video too

  • I was a bit younger then ... LOL. Always good to remember!

  • s ogood

  • The video goes great with this epic tune.

  • I wish I could live in this song.

  • I love to listen to this on a cold, rainy, dreary day.

I open my window, look outside, and think about things...

And I love how I can sometimes hear the birds chirping...it's almost like I'm embedded in the song...

  • @psychonautpsychosis I hear this every summer after-noon when I am at my home. Its hot and the sun is still about to release its rest of the fury for the day and the dessert cooler had just stopped to make this song audible to the resting birds in the garden of my home. And I look at the pond near next to my home.

  • @psychonautpsychosis Man, your head's where i wanna be lol! Rural and at peace. True happiness.

  • @psychonautpsychosis i'm totally with you on that one ;)

  • @psychonautpsychosis because, emotionally, you aren't embedded in it, more like drowning in the perfection

  • this song is not just trippy and peaceful. there is an irresolution in it. something that is trying to be worked out. like a pilgrimage. there is tension in the tranquility.

  • @greatsea

    what?

  • wish you were here is music for the masses

cirrus minor is music for the few.

i always come back to this one.

  • God I love this song!! This is my all time favorite song from the soundtrack More album

  • thanks for posting this one - heaven!

  • this organ and birds sounds make me having a cosmic orgasm.

  • Makes me feel like im in a peaceful river, wit noone in sight

  • got this on vinyl

  • Fantastic theme and wonderful organ ... in memoriam for Rick Wright ....

  • not alot of people no this album surprisingly

  • mesmerising , hypnotizing,

    no other words.

  • Awesome! A classic and one of my all-time favorite Pink Floyd songs and one of their best!

  • Bel montaggio, complimenti!

  • wow so many feels to every pf albums

    amazing!!

  • beautiful!!!!

  • Por siempre agradecido al Pink Floyd. Me hicieron ser un mejor ser humano. Lo juro...

  • On a trip to the countryside anything can happen from getting lost on a golf course for a night or trying to get a bagpiper to come out an oak tree.

  • Brings back some beautiful memories of many happy trips to the countryside in my youth.

Wouldn't mind doing it one more time!

  • This is fantastic music and beautiful video too, thanks!

  • Still the most incredible song! Thanks!

  • Lovely British countryside, British birds too, best birds in the world ;-)

  • Those birds can be found in other parts of the world. British birds indeed.

  • Have not heard this one in ages.

    ---Thanks for the post.

Great job on the vid by the way.

  • Great video!!

(Great song, no need to put)

  • Tiny bits of paper make nature and life much clearer but much further away and too pixelated than what is good for those awake, it's best to wake up and then wait a while.

  • It boils down to an individual, as is basis. Einstein read Kant's critique of reason over a decade before I first read it and I was 20. Does that make me "off track" or "behind"? How could it when I know people twice my age who haven't heard of it? So how do you calculate and compare when the "time" is right certain things?

  • I grew up with this song thank you!!

  • very nice. thanks for posting this beautiful video for a great 'lost classic' song...it even has the poster hanging over my bed as a tag...the imagery really matches the beauty of the song and its lyrics.

lots of odd sounds used on this that really work well..just wish more PF fans could see and hear this especially with Rick no longer with us.

  • Do you mean: they were not drug-oriented band at all then, they cared about music only? :D

  • Listen to Rick Wright's keyboards towards the end of this track - totally unique sound.

  • Totally right!

NO ONE on this planet would have dared use this sound being that at the time, it was FLOYDS trademark sound, courtesy of Mr Rick Wright.

I owe this man more than a drink, he gave me the keys to playing a keyboard!

Very unique sound and Floyd at their stoned best!

  • Might have this at my funeral.

  • Love this song BUT funeral should be happy, how about something like 'Kinky Afro' (happy mondays.)

  • Wow, I thought the same thing, GriefTourist!

    For me, I mean.

  • This really takes me back a few years when me and my mates used to go for long walks in the country. For some reason our legs felt light as if we could fly and the sounds and colours were much better.

  • Such a wonderful song.... such a wonderful video!!!!! Pink Floyd's early years were their very best!!!! Thanks for posting it floyd, all the best to you from germany!!!!

  • The visuals are just right - England really does look like that. Every time I go to river banks by graveyards, I count my blessings that I am an Englishman.

  • How many times did they use the bird tape loop from the EMI studio sound library?

    So awesome. Beautiful song.

  • Great! Reminds me of the old days!

  • puuuuu.... anda a cagar. Drogo , drogo, drogo.. drogadicto. XD...no hay nada mejor

  • @feet1979 otro excelente comentario!!

  • WOW! A very good collage and nice takes of nature too! And even some photos os our favourite band of all times!

    Luvd it!

    ; ))

  • perfect..

  • i did think of putting a vid of this up myself but i'm not going to bother now this can't be bettered its a great video well done my friend -trichoone .

  • on a trip to cirrus minor saw a crater in the sun.A thousand miles of moonlight later

  • The birdsong throughout this entire track does imply;-lying in a poppy field or meadow - dreamily-with your girlfriend.

  • brilliant, I love it !

  • I always have loved this song!!

With this video, it is so beautyfull!

  • nice job with the video and great song by my favorite band ever

  • i love this tune always use to play it at the early hours when i had been up all nite use to sound even better with the real dawn chorus what a tune one of the best early floyd tunes thanks .

  • Song makes me think of Goldberry & Bombadillo, from Tolkien's Fellowship of the Ring
