  • Fuck SAT we we take it

  • Thanks this helps a lot :)

  • Are these actual problems on the SAT? This is ridiculously easy.

  • very helpful.. thanks man.

  • lol, "if that type of thinking is too hard for you"

  • 6:27 This problem could have been done easier if you just set up a proportion. 40 x 15 divided by 30 is all you need to do

  • he makes it seem so simple i feel like such a dumbass -__- god knows wat i would have done for these questions on my own

  • ur amazing ,ur actually helping us have a future

  • These problems are easy....

  • all those problems very easy, you need to do only geometry ones

  • For 7:20, you could have used the formula

Xsub1 times Ysub1 is equal to Xsub2 times Ysub2, then plugged in

    (5)(15) = (25)(y)

This way there's less steps. That's just how I do it.

  • You are doing every question the LONG way. Try implementing some logic into your "strategies" before poisoning the minds of innocent youtubers...

  • OMG! i understand math ! it's a miracle! thank you!

  • Take the math portion of the SAT for me.

  • Oh my god, thanks! I take my SATs Saturday and I absolutely suck at math, this and Part 2 helped a lot!

  • Thank you so much, you have no idea how helpful you are. Please make more videos!

  • Finding a bunch of random hints on the internet always helps me understand what my teachers couldn't express in entire class periods.

  • Sucks how much SAT's count! But what can you do? Improve them! If you're in the New York Area, check out AmLotus by Herald Square. It's a Dept. of Education certified school for SAT and it's just opening. If you sign up, you'll be eligible to receive a free iTouch, Dr. Dre headphones, and even an iPad 2! Email juliet.amlotus@gmail.com for more information.

  • I am not exaggerating or lying, but after viewing all your videos, taking notes and studying have you taught. You have boosted me from my 570 on the SAT practice tests to high 700. I have no words to tell you how much you've helped me. Thank you.

  • helped me a lot

  • fuck the SAT. how about this, we pay colleges the fucking money, and they fucking admit us

  • @jessicalilac lmao

  • @jessicalilac Retard.

  • This is extremely helpful! Thank you so much.

  • You make the SAT look so easy and make us fell like a noob

  • i am so happy i live in Holland. this is extremely easy for me, since i do VWO with double math.

  • Please become my math teacher!

  • The inversely proportional part was the most helpful tip I have ever recieved from the videoand it will surely help me for the test tommorw.Hoooray for Math!

  • YOU ROOOOOCK! you have COMPLETELY saved my life! Literally! I would have failed without you! And you really are anwonderful teacher. You are greatly appreciated :) tomorrow's the day! Wish me luck!

  • I just want to take the time and tell you that you are a wonderfull teacher. Thanks so much. You saved my life. I take the SAT in 2 days

  • Can you do the English part too???

  • what type of calculator was the one you use

  • you are god sent! i have never understood prcents and yo have saved me!!!

  • thanks so much

  • dude i take the SAT in Nov.5th do u think ill be ready

  • @killsyou99 me too!! have a studied at all? um.. not really..

  • thank you so much i have got sats coming up and this was so helpful

  • You are good

  • thx alot broo

  • you sir are a genious

  • They don;t allow calculators in the test I am taking. Is there any way to divide fractions?

  • i love love love love you for this

  • For the first question, wouldn't you get A and B if you picked 1 for minutes and seconds?

  • i completely did them in different way from you and i did them mentally i got them all right ..... but why r you not making from the end like questions 20-24 these r the hardest .

  • Thums up if you were screaming "ITS A!!!!!! GOD" in the first question!

  • Thank you soo much!

  • You are my HERO

  • Oh my gosh! This video has helped me so much. Thanks!!!!!!

  • About the thirds question, actually the video shows the "complicated" way to solve that problem. The easiest way 30\40=15\x

    30x=600

    solve for x; 20 :)

  • It sounds like Bob Saget's voice.

  • lol on 4:20...on question number 3...I took 15 and looked at how many times it could fit into 30 which equals 2, than i just got 40 and divided it by 2 than got 20.......yeah! :D

  • Dude, you made the math section soooooo easy. like i cannot believe that it could be this simple. I'm sure when i am taking it i will forget the tricks but i am so glad i came upon this video. Definitely favoring this video, hope you can make more videos like this so i can be a subscriber!

  • This is SO helpful! Thank you so much!

  • #3: 15x40/30 = 20

  • question number 3, 15 percent is half of 30 percent so logically the number that corresponds to the number produced by 30, 40, is half that, 20.

  • omg my sats where yesterday

  • i'm not even getting this math yet on school but i understand :D

  • my head hurts

  • This is helpful I'm taking sat tomorrow....

  • ugh i take it tomorrow, but this video helped me so much.......... <3

  • isnt the percentage excercise easier just by dividing 30 by two??

  • Any tips on memorizing math problems and formulas?

  • If I'm applying to a school that uses the superscore (highest result on each section,, regardless of when the section was taken) and my writing and reading scores are good but I know i can do better in math, would it be OK to take the test again and not even answer the reading sections (which I hate and really drain me) and writing, and save all my energy for the math sections? Would colleges even know I bombed the other two??

  • THANK YOU YOU SAVED ME WITH THE INVERSELY PROPORTIONAL PART!!

  • 9 minutes four math problems, you fail the SAT.. ell well, i need all the help i can get..

  • Cool! i wrote almost everything down! :) Thank you. :)

  • for number three wouldn't it be easier if you did a proportion?

  • (1) One minute has 60 seconds and m minutes will hae 60 m seconds. Add 60 m to s seconds, you will get the answer 60 m + s.

    (2) Workinig backwards is a goood strategy but not always,In this particular example, we know 30% is 40 so isn't 15% half of 30%, so why doing all these calculations? Just take half of 40 then you get answer 20 immediately. The explanation might be good for other problems but it is not good for this praticular problem.

  • thank you so much!!! I cant say this enough but you are soooo amazing! This is what I've been looking for and couldn't find until today!

  • couldnt you have done the question at 5:56 by halving 40 since 15 is half of 30? thats what i did and came up with 20

  • @bboy5658 he could, but I believe this is a general example. In the exam the values could've been harder and not so easily deduced as this 1, but with his method u'll be able to easily apply it in less than 30 seconds for any values

  • @bboy5658 I agree with you but the way he did is suitable for almost other situations

  • I love you for this!!!!

  • this video helps, the only thing I wished you did was speed up your problem solving.

  • Thank you so much for this video. I'm taking the SAT again in a week and I've been studying but the math section is the one I have the most trouble with. Also, the way you showed how to do the problem where y is inversely proportional to x was so much easier than the way my Algebra 3 teacher taught it.

  • @adnamadyolf Thanks a lot. I hope you do well! - Radical Prep

  • @RadicalPrep - Question can you substitute any numbers for "s" and "m" variables in question 1 ?

  • @adnamadyolf algebra 3? O_o

  • @cmysubscriptions Ha ha yeah Algebra 3. I hated that class so much. My teacher was sweet but very old and horrible at explaining things. >.<

  • I love you!!!!!! thanks a lot!!!

  • dont 4get the SAT is a time examine.. u cant waist more than 1 minute on 1 question

  • @JoeTheGreat08 True, but keep in mind the beginning of the section will be easier so try to get those questions done relatively quickly, 30 seconds or less. Your going to need that extra time for the end of section stuff, which most of the time will take longer than a minute. Also, my vids are for instruction so sometimes it takes a bit to go through a problem. thanks for the comment

  • @JoeTheGreat08 thats true. its like 25 mins for 40 questions i dont think u can do all of this is for every question

  • Thank you, Math is my weakest spot and this helps ALOT thank you very much

  • No problem, good luck on the SAT, share the video with your friends if you can. - Radical Prep

  • great video...thank u

  • So what does everyone think of the video - helpful? Should it be different?

  • wow ...i got the answer in like 1 sec =D..no joke....i just saw that since they are inversely proportional..meaning that if you divide Y by 3...you should do the OPPOSITE to X...so since x=5...and we want to get to 25, we multiply by 5...so then we should divide Y by 5 because its inversely proportional...=]

  • good job, go and whoop that SAT's ....

  • thanks =].

  • I DONT GET IT???

  • What don't you get my friend?

  • This is SO great. Thanks, Radical Prep!
