  • YOU ARE GREAT MY BROTHER

  • ; )

  • superb motion and fluidity but might i ask what specifications your katanas are? such as carbon grade? and materials involved? and if possible the forge process used?

  • I use a lot of paul chen hanwei katanas. My best being a momo no saru katana, high carbon swedish steel tempered at 60-40. you can see the 9 folds in it beautifully. Whenever i can afford higher quality i upgrade

  • damn....

yur like a highlander style samurai

the sword handling around about 4:25 was amazing.

im trying to learn how to handle a bo staff or somthing else spear or pole like

  • training katana? you mean a bokken, you could make one fairly easy, or buy one, unless your talking bout a dulled bladed katana. i don't suggest you ever even touch a metal sword until you have a good amount of experience under your belt and deffiniatly if your trying to learn to spin and ariels like roach, and im certian he would agree, you will get cut and sometimes bad from such things i've got almost 12 years on me now and i still make mistakes more then i like to admit everyone does.

  • @kokotenks I have to disagree with this statement. heres why... would you tell a xbmx rider he should use a tricycle with training wheels to do some of the jumps they do until they get enough experiance?? I make this comparison because anything anyone does has risks associated with it is a sword anymore dangerous than a bmx or a skate board? I'm sorry to say but that sounds like you take yourself a little too seriously and noone could possibally learn without yrs of practice. no offense intended

  • Where did this style come from? It looks like a Japanese katana, but the movements you did earlier don't look like anything Japanese. What is sine qua non.

  • Sine Qua Non; it's Latin for "without which (there is) nothing." :) great vid

  • got a question:

did you worked more to find the focus to ur spirit or the techniqes of sword fighting?

sry for my bad english. im very intrested in that

    its beautiful

  • it has always been the former more but the latter is catching up

  • dude very great!! i hope some day we can do a sword tricks together and learn both.. i am learning i hope in a years be better like you.. very nice art.. see ya

  • could u beat up anderson silva?

  • if im allowed a stick :)

  • lolol hahah. yo!! whats the first song called in this?

P.S u gotta put some more fights from rise of the footsoldier and green street hooligans 1 n 2 in ur next fight vid

  • Tp... seriously man... i think u can work very well with the flow of energy in the body... whatevr thats called... tao or whatever...

And that countryside... man... it looks awesome... amazing places to be practicing...

    Really nice video overall...

  • your hand and elbow strikes..were those your creation or from a style you trained in?

    keep it up, train hard

  • i was taught a version of them

  • do you know what style? was it a form of kung fu?

  • tis kung fu brother, i'll ask what division its from exactly if you like.

  • nah your fine xD i dont mean to be a bother lol

  • that first song, what is this? Do you fight ours medieval swords too?

  • Truly an inspiration. Id be very interested in joining your clan. But I think I live in a different country. =(

Pity the kenvert clan site wasn't made yet though. And send me a reply about the group vid :P

  • excellent - great stuff

  • Great new vid, Roach! I'd like to see the original "What is KenVert" video again...

  • nice and i like the how u got videos during snow and what not for added effect... its a nice touch

  • Great Vid

  • Simply exceptional man.

After everything youtube and the people out there have thrown at you, its an inspiration to still see you standing so strong.

I couldn't stop watching until the video ended, it was an exceptional piece my friend, and stirred something inside me to get training even damn harder than before.

Stay safe my Brother, I look forward to seeing and hearing more from you soon.

  • 3:53 Waat, I shouldn't be surprized you pulled that catch off. Anyways congrats you kept me tuned in the whole 9 minutes by then I'm usually skipping around. I think your editing is superb. Epic epic final. Here with you till the end brother. Great video, to many great flows to time stamp them all! Going to soak them all in. =D

  • I wish I had time and place to write alot to comment your great efforts Tom, but sadly I lack time even for that. Your way of the sword is inspiring and motivating. I'm glad you never let anything get you off that track. Keep it up and may you become the greatest warrior.
