  • "MACHO MANNNN... BOTH YOU AND I KNOW... THAT WE HAVE BEEN MUCH CLOSER THAN NOSE TO NOSE... MANY TIIIIIIMES!!!"

    ...Wait, what?

  • why was Ric Flair so great? what a douche

  • I think I see myself in the crowd.

  • one of the greatest wrestlers ever ric flair and some goof with make up

  • We can all agree UW is a cunt

But my God what a magnificent looking cunt

  • again the Warrior was the greatest gimmick in Wrestling History!!!

  • Phoenix huh? I thought Warrior was from "Parts Unknown"?

  • talk all the shit you want but the warrior already did it. he was the biggest thing! people loved him! flairs sagging skin suit ass neds to jump in a hole and get covered up with dirt and quit acting like hes alive.

  • Warrior SUCKED!

  • YOU DIDN'T MISUNDERSTAND NOTHING --- BIG BOY!!!

  • The wrestling equivalents of ice cream and horse manure.

  • Say what you like about Warrior overrated or not his promos were intense. I hardly ever understood a word he said but they were intense

  • yeah rick flair wouldve rocked with warrior.. pity both men's egos are so big that it wouldve never worked... but hey, if macho man can make warrior look like gold, so can rick flair

  • agreed.... bye bye john cena and randy orton

  • Ric, you're acting like Ultimate Warrior even knows what a checkbook is.

  • @nakamine1713

Yep, and even with the overratedness he's still better than anyone else.

  • It's def not what it used to be

  • wwe isnt as good when they were the WWF

  • lol warrior lol

  • I think the warrior got louder pops than anyone other than Hogan...even Bret,Austin,Taker,Rocky & face Jericho

  • @FiveStarGeneral88 you mean the rock

  • @sfgfj duhh he was called Rocky Mavilla or however you spell it when he first came to WWF

  • warrior absolutely did the WORST promos/interviews of anybody in wrestling history

  • Flair= The most overrated wrestler of all time...no one else is even close.

  • @nakamine1713 What's your basis on that?

  • so that's what a 10 thousand dollar robe looks like.. damn, that bitch is magnificent..

  • flair is the man

  • Pamela Leigh Richards

  • warrior's face paint is awesome=)

  • was that a Jum Carroll poem?

  • Rick Rude got a great match out of the Warrior at SummerSlam 89

  • @negronomics Rude and Savage were the only people to get good matches out of the Warrior.

  • Mean Gene is a living legend!

  • the only good match the warrior had was against hulk hogan at wrestlamina.

  • @mr94hitman I respectfully disagree. I found the match between Warrior and Savage at WrestleMania VII to be much better. For one thing, Warrior did not run out of energy on his entrance and acted like a sane individual- at least at first.

  • @FewerMiles got a point there.

  • closer than nose to nose? he goes on to say 'we seen the insides of each others minds' to make up for it. but everyone knows hes gay

  • Warriors' promos always sucked..Take away the gallons of juice he shot in his ass, he would have been nothing..Wait, he was nothing anyway..

  • SAY WHAT!

  • Closer than face to face? Don't go that far Warrior.

  • Warrior was red hot back then. Kinda reminds me of Goldberg's red hot run in WCW. And where are they now? Ric Flair started in 1973, has wrestled everwhere, including the WWWF back in MSG in the late 70's. And where is he now? Still wrestling! Anyone who thinks Ultimate Warrior is superior to Ric Flair needs to pay attention to this promo: Flair made the promo make sense! Any wrestler considered good idolized Flair as a kid. That makes Flair the Man! WOOO!

  • @tension1906

Any wrestler with since knows people like Shawn Michaels, bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, Ultimate Warrior were the people they grew up with and idolized them. Flair was and still is nothing. They had to get the Big Gold to outsmart Hogan in 1984-1989 because Hogan was so huge. Flair's watered down and needs to retire. Even Triple HHH knows why he's still wrestling... MONEY!

  • @tonshaad1230 Both Hogan and Flair need to retire and stay gone and Flair was popular too,Shawn Micheals,Triple H and many more people idolized the guy.

  • @tonshaad1230 bro, wake up! Ric Flair is why professional wrestling exist. Hulk Hogan is also why it's where it is....of course back in the 80's wwf was the big bad boy on the block but NWA was right with it...Ric Flair didn't wrestle for wwf back then because there was zero room for a talent like that . He was too huge and was making waaaay more than mcmahon would have paid him anyway...so why would he go back then.

  • @Jaywarde82

No Ric Flair wrestled because he was to scared of Hogan and his power. Ric Flair was never as huge as Hogan, not even huge as Warrior or Macho Man and he was damn sure not making more money then McMahon. Ric Flair had to use his OWN money to buy all the things he says he is "Jetflying, limosine riding, kiss stealing wheelin' dealing sonofagun". Jim Crockett NEVER bought those things ala meant he wasn't nearly as rich as McMahon was. Flair went back because he felt he had a sport.

  • @Jaywarde82

He went back to the NWA renamed WCW because he saw he had the opportunity to win the WCW and the NWA title nothing because of money or he was to huge over in WWF.

  • This was where the Warrior started getting way too intellectual with his promos...he was better when he was in a fit of rage the whole time...

  • girls back in the 80`s loved the guys with hair like warriors/ 80`s hair bands

  • Warrior >>>>>>>> Flair.

Flair has always been jealous of The Ultimate Warrior. Flair's spent, almost, 40 years kissing ass to get where he is, and yet, The Ultimate Warrior became a bigger legend in one year, than Flair could ever dream of.

    WARRIOR FOREVER!!

  • @GialloHorror thank you. i totally agree. flair's done some good stuff, but he never in all his years got the reactions warrior got. i personally don't think much of either of their ringwork. flair could go, but there was really no style to his matches... no chemistry. warrior wasn't great in the ring, but i still feel he's a bit underrated by the smart marks. but when his music hit, forget about it... the people went nuts. anyone can see that, whether you liked him or not.

  • @GialloHorror

True, it took Warrior the same amount of time it took Hogan to get popular.... one year. Flair had to earn it, Warrior/Hogan was GIVEN it.

  • Warrior was from "parts unknown" - but did anyone catch Flair mention that Warrior could write a big check from that big house in Phoenix? :-)

  • He had the face shape of McLovin

  • classic

  • Wow thats a pretty coherent promo by Warrior

  • Flair hates the warrior right here

  • I always thought this was the coolest the Warrior ever looked in this segment. His make-up was always the best face paint in wrestling, but it just looks badass here. People can dump on Warrior all they want, he made his impact and is a legend. Sure, there are better "wrestlers", but the Warrior made his mark. You can deny it all you want, but crowd reactions to him show that was more than "over".

  • When the stars in the Grimlack System will not be denied, Hoak Hogan, then the WARRYAHS will rise! Rampant ninja-related crimes these days Hoak Hogan, White House is not the exception! I hear it's amazing with the famous purple stuffed worm Hoak HOgan in flap-jaw space, with the tuning fork, does a raw blink on Hiri-Kiri rock! I need scissors! 61! *skronk*

  • @KevServo HAHAHA!

  • cool nod to Sting there. "Ive been beating people up with paint on their face all my life"

  • Much closer than nose to nose? many times? what exactly is The Ultimate Gimmicky Wrestler getting at here?

  • @MFMoshDEK

that the whole point of wrestling the " gimmicky" part, warrior was a psycho, flair was mister cool money man

  • More mumbo jumbo from the Ultimate illiterate. Flair 4 Life.

  • Flair was being forced down the throats of the US southern audience for about 10 years by this point. Another typical screaming Flair promo. Fuck off. Steroids or not, we all loved Warrior/Hogan/ everyone apart from past his best Flair.

  • I hated the Warrior, he interviewed like a fucking retard, all he had going for him was some roided up muscles!

  • wtf is the warrior wearing lol

  • Just call him "The Ultimate Roid Warrior." Greatness deferred.

  • Careful, Ric, don't get TOO close to the Warrior...he might PUKE on you!

  • Warrior must have taken a break from the cocaine...he isn't nearly as energetic in this interview

  • Thank god this feud never went anywhere as at WWF would have made Warrior go over Flair & that would be WRONG in so many ways.

  • @TNO73 Actually there was a match between these two ended with DQ.

  • this is when Superstars meant SUPER stars!! not the repeats of smackdown, RAW and afterburn thats on the current Superstars, WWE now is LAME!! long live Warrior and the golden era of WWF!!

  • The warrior suck on the mic. He was never a good talker. Ric flair was the best on the Mic.

  • Flair was too advanced for the WWF back then.

  • ROID RAGE!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ric Flair wishes he was half as great as Ultimate Warrior.

  • @WATCHMYGAMING are you retarded or what? Stop that and reverse it. Warrior cant even hold a candle to how great ric flair was and IS. Flair is the greatest of all time and Warrior is nothing more than a corporate creation footnote in history

  • @Rvd420WHAT In my opinion Warrior was much greater than Flair. Warrior just had more exciting matches to me. Flair is in my all time top 10 however.

  • @WATCHMYGAMING Warrior had ' more exicitng " matches?????? ummmmmmmmmmmm ok , please tell what type of drugs you were smoking while watches these classic exciting matches...i need to stock up on whatever you are taking

  • Half as great as the Ultimate Warrior? Wow...

  • @WATCHMYGAMING Your parents must be related because thats shits retarded.

  • @mynameistim01 I enjoyed Warrior more than Flair. I thought Warrior was better in every aspect. Just an opinion about a wrestler.

  • @WATCHMYGAMING Curiously how much CRACK did you SMOKE before you typed out that crazy comment?

  • closer then nose to nose??? lmao how close can u get warrior lol?

  • closer then nose to nose.

    maybe he talk about sex.

  • Ric Flair did a great and understanding promo here...what the hell did warrior say?

  • What the hell was Warrior talking about?????

  • @oldwrestlingluv - Nobody ever knew what the Warrior was talking about in his promos. lol

  • Watch him not even blink lol while he is speaking

  • I was just thinking that.

  • @williewombat21

    He's Coked Out lol....jk

  • The WWF had a rule. You could not say you were the best in pro wrestling. You had to say you were the best in the WWF.

They acted like they were the only promotion and ignored the existence of other promotions back then.

  • you wanna talk about raw going down hill, look what happened to superstars!

  • Raw is going downhill because of Jon Cena, Randy Orton, and Big Show. They need to leave WWE for a little while, we need a rest.

  • @VenomFangO I agree, I'm just soooo tired of the same story lines every week.

  • @VenomFangO Far as I can tell, John Cena, Orton, Big show, Daniel Bryan, HHH and The Undertaker are the ones keeping the WWE afloat! There's no one else that the people care about, and I know John Cena isn't popular to those who aren't Kids or horny women but he is a great asset to WWE. I think of him as today's Hulk Hogan, he's great at everything in pro wrestling except for the actual wrestling! But to be fair he's more technical than Hogan ever was, which isn't saying a lot!

  • the ladies in the crowd went nuts for the warrior he must have got so much ass back then.

  • @Chargerchad Fuck yeah, look at that body lol, now as Billy said,"now i'm not gay or anything..." but he was a fucking stud who probably had orgies with 80's ass.

  • @Chargerchad yeah too bad with all the roids he took his balls were probably the size of grapes.

  • @Chargerchad they wanted THE ULTIMATE SLONG

  • @Chargerchad

it was the shag-muff on top

  • Warrior did what know one else has the guts to do today... He walked in and KICKED THE DOOR DOWN!!!

  • funny how no one can explain how he became a huge name, and dont say he kissed ass cause supposedly no one liked him.

  • Warrior is still more interesting character than any of the young guys in wrestlign today Ziggler,Sheamus..lol or in TNA Aj Styles and Daniels and fat Joe..lol

  • Randomly shouting nonsense is interesting?

  • Warrior's words were nonsense. They were nuggets of AWESOME wisdom dropped from the SPACE GODS.

SRSLY, I liked both Warrior and Ric Flair. All the cool wrestlers are over-the-top in one way or another.

  • agree man, just watched this sagment and it was interesting not like some cheezy ass they do in wwe or tna now a days

  • Following Wrestlemania VIII..where Flair lost the title to Savage, Flair was seeking all Summer long to regain the WWF Title; but it was then announced that the Ultimate Warrior became the #1 contender. Since Warrior "Took Flair's spot"...that's how Flair & his professional consultant (Mr. Perfect) got involved.

  • The Warrior's interview and acting skills sucked bigtime!

  • "...Much closer than nose to nose. We have seen the inside of each others... minds (phew)"

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Arn, Ole, Tully, and J.J. should have pulled up in a Caddy at Titan Towers with a hired cameraman and proceeded to beat up Warrior with a baseball bat while he was tied to a pickup truck

  • For if the stars aline with the planets, then the Warrior will triumph over all (growl). LOL, this guy never made any sense.

  • I think that was the point!

  • Ok... Now it's starting to make sense. I clearly missed out on this feud.

  • Much closer than "nose to nose." Oooookay?

  • Interesting. Why were Savage and Warrior still feuding at this point?

  • What the hell is going on here?

  • Something about Flair and Perfect playing mind games with Macho and Warrior. I dunno, the whole thing didn't make any sense.

  • Neither did anything Flair did in the WWF back then. He was just sort of there...

  • Christ, Warrior almost looks like an entirely different person, which is to say, he's soooooo much smaller.

  • @fagbert that is because of the steroid scandel that was going on in the WWF at the time Vince told all the wrestlers to get off the juice......

  • can anyone tell me why did flair leave wwf

  • His contract was up and Vince wanted to reduce his role as to mid card status. So to maintain their friendship Flair left

  • first time i've heard warrior say "SAY WHAT!". lol

  • Comment removed

  • @skm79925 the Warrior is a Steroid NON Wrestling Fool

  • Bent as the ace of spaces, my friend.

  • 1 thing common b/w Warrior & Sting

Both men painted their faces although they had handsome faces

  • They also started out as a Tag Team in the UWF as The Bladerunners.

  • ric flair was soo loathsome in these days I really hated his early 90s stint with wwf..He just seemed to walz in everytime a babyface was tryin to cut a promo

  • Yeah, it's good to look back on his heeling days now that he's loved by so many people for all his years of service. He really did have that arrogant swagger perfected, so easy to dislike.

  • all i can say is. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

  • HO KOGAN

  • @elrifle1860 lol

  • The Ultimate Steroid Warrior

  • u.warrior is pathetic. flair verbally beat him to a shivering, bloated, blah-blah meathead. flair never looses eye contact. the master in action. the sick thing is that warrior doesn't even acknowledge the slap down after the flair rant. flair gave him an opportunity, and meathead blew it. can u imagine what stan hanson would have done to him? tully blanchard would have taken him for an hour. for that matter, buck rock n' roll zumhoff and scrap iron kadasky would both school the booringer.

  • Your talkin sweat !

  • Woooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! Flair said his first WWE run was his favorite of his career. Flair is the man!

  • Note to warrior... BLINK

  • lol look at those little kids trying to take swipes at Ric Flair.

  • ric flair is the greatest hin and mil masscaras

  • lol wasn't me, but i'm 32 years old kid, & i'll tell you Flair is over-rated.

I've been a fan of the man since his AWA days

He's great on a mic with a hell of personality, but far from the greatest.

your wigger comment just shows your ass even more.

I'm not a cena fan and dont even watch WWE tv anymore so im not one to stick up for WWE...

But thats no excuse for the ignorance and stupidity you speak of.

  • nor are most wrestlers from Flair's prime..e.g. Hogan,Piper,Savage......

  • I dont think they're are too many who honestly knew Flair during his prime.

lol His biggest fued with sting of course started in 1988. Even then he was too damn old, and that was suppose to be about him passing the torch...something his ego would never allow him to fully do.

  • i agree to some point..he did do the "honors" so-to-speak to Sting,Steamboat, etc. but YEAH DID~DOES have a huge ego....can't say the same for Hogan.

  • the multi color early '90s those were the days I'll do anything to go back.today wwe is just plain boring.

  • flair is soooooo overated!!!

warrior may not of had all the wrestling skills in the world but id rather watch warrior matches than flair matches

wooooooooo-yeah theres an awesome catchphrase right there!! eh??

  • flair!!! one of the last great ones in "sports entertainment"

  • We should be thankful this never turned into a match/storyline. What the hell should Ric Flair do with the excellence of incompetence Hellwig?

  • It's just too bad that the Warrior had no significant wrestling talent, microphone ability, backstage manners, promotion ability and was about as reliable as paper shoes in the rain. Otherwise, he might have had a longer, prosperous career.

Hell, even Cena and Batista can rock the mic.

That doesn't make me a Flair fan, either. Hell, even in THOSE days he looked old

  • Flair, greatest promo man for a very long time in the business.

    Warrior - incomprehensible buffoon.

  • warroir is the worst talker of all time

    thats a fact

  • wow there you have both The Greatest wrestler of all time Ric Flair and the Worst wrestler of all time The Ultimate, I'm suprised the universe didn't implode! although as a kid i got to admit i ate up warrrior's shit

  • exactly, and looking back at it now i think "what a dumb kid i was back then" LOL

  • slick ric pwned that ass

  • if ric flair fight against ultimate warrior, i say ultimate warrior will win

  • Vampkiller if u look here on you tube you will find a match with warrior against flair.

  • second half of the Warrior interview you are able to understand what he is saying. lol.

  • I want that mother fucking jacket.

  • In Bret's book, he talked about how Warrior wouldn't go meet a sick boy who was his biggest fan... that was disappointing to find out cause back then, I used to cheer for this guy. He was as big as Hogan as far as superstardom, but just not as nice to fans.

  • damn...this could have been an awesome match, although more than likely Warrior would have wanted to beat Flair Honky Tonk Man style in less than a minute without even taking off his robe or something. I dunno, I guess we'll never know

  • Okay, dude.. Seriously. Everyone knows wrestling is not exactly real. The blood is real, yes. But entertainment is entertainment. You either like it or you don't.

It was my in-law who was on my account and I'll admit. He's an asshole. :D

  • RIP Curt Hennig.

  • kid can't even spell faggots right lol

  • Since you're being all technical, add some fucking capitals.

    'Fag'

Find something better to pick on next time, don't waste your time.

  • Not seeing any capitals in your initial post haha

  • WELL THANK YOU CAPTAIN OBVIOUS! Now say something we don't know. Who cares if wrestling is fake? We fans still like it.

  • its staged yes, but you really have to look at it as a show. But the athletisism is killer

  • right its the athleticism and great acting that shined with these guys! especially back then imo

  • Duhhhh i think he was a retarded person can you understand him? he was the worst on the mic
