This mission is way easier with Medic/Marine. Failed hard with Vikings the first time and with medic/marine is was really easy.

@DjSaiX17 you have to buy the upgrades or research before beating the mission. if you do missions through the mission archive or whatever it will revert to whatever you had when you beat it the first time, regardless of difficulty.

i'm assuming that's what happened, at least. if so, start a new campaign to get there with specific upgrades.

I helped Selendis for the first time honestly because I didn't trust the doctor from the off, plus I didn't want to piss off the Protoss incase it bit later on in the campaign. Plus I like how the Protoss were with Raynor in BW and I wanted to keep that kinda thought. I also had a big nerd smile on my face when he replied the Khalian greeting =B

on this mission you only need 2 gases, especially since you have the 25% bonus gas intake. 3 will just result in your gas count ballooning to insane amounts

This is Mislabeled. This mission is actually "Haven's Fall" when you choose to help out Protoss. When you help Doc, it's "Safe Haven". You may want to go back and complete Safe Haven (mission archives) b/c you don't get all brutal achievements unless you complete it as well.

@hockeybrat95 They both have their pros and cons and either one is pretty good. I like the flamer turrets because you can walk over them when they are not active. I found this very helpful on the final mission.

and i decided to kill the air instead because i actually thought the brood lords just tore up my air defenses so i went mass banshees to kill the worms and the PT could tank the land forces but then idk ive really only found those useful for the turtle missions lol and that prolly what they are used for

I thought the name of the mission you did was "Heaven`s Fall" where you go with the protos and "Safe Heaven" Where you go against them. Are you doing the other one too?

@Puaru supernova is such a hard mission, i did it on brutal with banshees and vikinds..and i went to their base, the final base...and i was waiting to FIRE to come and destroy most of their buildings while i was just chillin and waiting and then i just attacked! cause u can fly with your buildings....trust me, that way is so EASY :)

You can also use the vision of your vikings to let the siege breaker shoot high ground. I killed the eastern base without a unit lost this way.

I think the first infestation didn't show up because you killed some random overseer on your way towards the southern base at the beginning of the game. I think were them who were bringing the infestation to the outpost so nothing happened.

Tip to watchers: It is actually safe to land the three vikings you start with initially. Just stick them in the northern corner to avoid getting surrounded. (Kill the brood lords first obviously.) I took 0 damage when I tried this. ^^

i think if you camp a couple vikins at each colony it will be easy because the infestation is spread by overseers.

the reason why there was no second infestation was because you killed the obverseer that was about to do it.

I dont get the raven over science vessel choice... thinking about it while watching this one, I did it with mass vikings like you, but I dont know if I lost more than 1-2 thanks to a few science vessels. And later, omg, vessels and BCs are cute :p

Anyways, this works too, but you lose less men.

Also, I'm actually curious as to what you're gonna use the ravens for. I dont recall any mission I would prefer them to vessels, so really looking forward to the next videos.

you killed the overseer who would infest the colony, so knowing when which colony is going to be infested and sending some vikings to kill the overseer before he actually plants his eggs there saves a lot of trouble

The colonies don't get infested if you snipe the overseers heading there. Zai killed the overseer that would have started the infestation of the first colony, but missed overseers he could have sniped easily twice. =)

This mission is crazy easy is you have nukes available; just nuke each infested colony and take out all of the enemies there. Just watch your positioning so the overseers don't spot you

siege tanks always one shot my scvs repairing the odin, wraiths are just terrible and taking out the tanks beforehand is impossible with that raven flying around unless i get lucky and can pull him out. But even then it takes years to kill it and the tanks with the wraith's retarded damage.

Also, i don't wanna get science vessels b/c they're really stupid >.>

I generally prefer Science Vessels, you can just have one following the Odin and keep healing it, no SCVs wasted! The wraiths are also for taking out BCs, not tanks, if you need tanks, get tanks of ur own and outrange them.
