  • The reason why they do it- like most things today- easy money (low creativity). The "masses" are stupid . Look at the crap that was up for Best Picture this year. As we get more indoctrinated into a computerized fast food world- creativity is being lost.

  • The only movie video game i thought was pretty great was The Warriors. I like that the game was a prequel and followed the movie to get a better back story on the characters. It was fun though :D

  • i think 300 had the most potential out of all the movies. to bad they make the psp version suck MASSIVE cock. i'm talking about like a MASSIVE cock. they could've had like the god of war creators make the fucking game or something. instead they create some piece of shit on the psp with the WORST combat ever. how the hell do you make terrible combat in a 300 game? pathetic.

  • Goldeneye on the N64 was pretty badass back in the day.

  • @NeoSef That is true however Goldeneye was known more for its addictive multiplayer and also if you ever played the single player of goldeneye you would know that it takes a ton of left turns from the movie and thus makes it better.

  • @Unkl3Ub3r Yeah but now you're picking and choosing. All movie games tend to not follow the movie exactly, hell the Wolverine game you mentioned has you fighting giant robots. A movie simply cannot be replicated into a game without restructering how it plays out, but then you have a different animal. There are plenty of movie games out there that are worth your time.

On the subject of releasing them, well they are just there to get more money from an established product that people recognise.

  • Chronicles of Riddick was a great game. But that wasn't a movie game as such. It was a game based on the events after the movie and was completely original.

  • @MadOverdose however it is based on the characters and story around the Riddick franchise but not a following a Riddick movie.

  • so funny XD

  • Really good fucking rant quality man
