This system doesn't seem that good. This poor 3rd grade girl spends 8 minutes on a simple math problem using this method, gets the answer wrong, and then using the standard method to answer it correctly in 1 minute: search YouTube for "The unintended consequences of the Investigations Math"

Of course! Teacher intention is to make the child do it in less! While the teacher observes,the child can do do 10 problems practicicing! Time is not what matters, it's fluency !
