This is actually an awesome movie if you pay attention. If you miss too much and don't understand what's going on, then you will just be confused through the rest of the movie. It's really not that hard to understand, but I won't spoil it. See it for yourself. (:

I saw this and actually liked it quite a bit, it's a hard film to recommend though because it's a hard film to categorize. It's not a horror film, at all, it is advertised as one because they didn't know how the fuck advertise it, I don't know how it advertise it. It is a character study about paranoid delusions, it starts as a normal story but as the character's delusions worsen the film falls apart mirroring their descent into insanity.
of course its not supposed to be suspenseful. its not horror. its a psychological thriller. i thought it was awesome. and it cant "move" anywhere because its so realistic with the setting, and characters (crappy motel room and less than average looking people) if its more lifelike then its not gonna follow those typical movie conventions of suspense leading up to action and whatnot
This film is very slow-moving, and slow-moving to absolutely nowhere. It was boring and unsuspenseful. Every time I thought it was leading to something, it didn't. My letter grade for "Bug" : F

The great thing about this movie is that when you talk to people who have watched it, many people came out of it thinking different scenerios of what was going on. At least it makes you think.. The acting was not great by any means but the concept and way that it was written was rather brilliant.

@LWebb1000 JP3 wasn't perfect but it's definetely better than these other two. Funny thing is Freeze was my favorite character (even though it's the worst Batman film ever) BUG was a huge letdown, and the acting in B&R was unbearable at times. I liked the first half of BUG but when I saw no bugs and heard the "I'M THE QUEEN MOTHER BUG!" line, I immediately left the theater, Bug was beyond horrible, Judd, Collins & Connick were supremely wasted in this film. This movie was freaking great. It really messed with my mind, hell, the night after watching it, it felt like there were bugs on me :)
I wouldn't call it terrifying, but the movie isn't at all what it seems like. I suggest it.

The great thing about this movie is that when you talk to people who have watched it, many people came out of it thinking different scenerios of what was going on. At least it makes you think.. The acting was not great by any means but the concept and way that it was written was rather brilliant.

Excellent movie!A true study in human nature,a look at a world many of us may never see.A lonely woman whose been abused,a mother who has lost her only child by abduction and is severely depressed and a man who never fit socially, who joins the army and then has more than likely goes mad/paranoid with war and how these two lives randomly come together,intermingle and eventually,well if you haven't seen it,I won't tell you what happens! Watch it,it's definitely worth it!Don't know how I missed it

@LWebb1000 JP3 wasn't perfect but it's definetely better than these other two. Funny thing is Freeze was my favorite character (even though it's the worst Batman film ever) BUG was a huge letdown, and the acting in B&R was unbearable at times. I liked the first half of BUG but when I saw no bugs and heard the "I'M THE QUEEN MOTHER BUG!" line, I immediately left the theater, Bug was beyond horrible, Judd, Collins & Connick were supremely wasted in this film. Judd's character should've went lez ;)

I haven't seen Jurassic Park 3 in a while but I remember it being garbage and Batman and Robin is crap but its definitely better than Bug!
