Great store, but you're really over exaggerating a lot of things.Customer service is like any other store. You'll find some with great people, and you'll find some with a douche behind the counter who has no idea what they're talking about.
The idea of getting a few more dollars for trade in's are nice, but that's all it boils down too. A few extra bucks compared to GS. If you want to make some money on used games, it's still better to go, and sell them yourself.
Where I live the the gamestops are f*cked up and the employees idk what's their problem they always get grumpy and sht. There's a play n trade nearby and it's getting popular, they make good deals in trading and the employees are cool. Looks it's a competition of stores...

This seems like the coolest game store ever. Wish we had this in my country. The screen stuttering and flashing effects all over the video drives me insane though.
I've been to three of these in Utah and two of them went out of business. I was so bummed! Any time I wanted to try and collect games for my Sega Genesis, they would always have the games I wanted. I also had a lot of fun playing the old NES games and drooling over the fact I could buy an SNES, a Dreamcast, or even the Neo-Geo!
Why are so many Play 'N Trades going out of business?!
For anyone that has a Play N Trade in their area, you don't know how lucky you are. The Play N Trade in my area went out of business last year and I was really bummed.
Sure, I have GameStop (like 3 of them), but it's not the same. Gamestop stopped selling old games a long time ago in my area and the last thing that was still selling (that just stopped last year) was gameboy advance games.
I really hope that Play N Trade returns to California soon. I miss it so bad. :(

Gamestop gives you used games without question. They don't even tell you. You'll ask "Hey can I have homefront, the BRAND NEW, un-used copy?" and he/she will say "Yeah, let me check in the back." Then he'll take a used copy and slip it into a new case then laugh as you cant do shit with homefront.

Ah, Play N Trade, love the store! I love gamestop as well (yay employee discount!), but this is the only other place where I can find older titles for the PS1/2 and Dreamcast in good condition. A shame that the closest one near my area is no more. :\

Fuck Yeah!!! I went to gamestop looking for an original xbox game and they told me they don't sell them anymore. WTF? Then I go to Play N Trade and they have most of what I want: classic ps2 and original xbox games. Also, the employees at Play N Trade are exactly how they described in the video. Honestly, keeping the sticker under the plastic covering was an awesome idea. It's just anyoying and gross trying to peel off a year old sticker that keeps breaking apart and leaving nasty residew on the cover. Also, it's true, Gamestop RIPS PEOPLE OFF! Seriously, I have the new premium game stop trade in power card, and I traded in 2 games I bought for 50 bucks a year ago for the PS3. I get less than $10 (store credit) back ;(

i will agree with you on some points but play n trade is sometimes overly annoying with pre-orders.Every time i walk in the guy asks do you want to pre-order for a game when i don't even like the franchise!As well as the guy saying every game is a good game when you and i both know that leisure suit larry was and still the worst game.And hes like its a good buy! And tournaments have to be monitored for spam/cheapness.Not saying gamestop is any better just giving my opinion.Overall great video.
