  • You are a true professor at teaching us this song, thank you!

  • hi...when you play the song..whats the rythm of your left hand? :P do you strike the string on down down up up and then down up down...? :P

  • deeder001.Thanks,i will try the na-na-na ,it sounds good for me.

  • An easier strumming pattern for this I find is D DDU :) Just a suggestion for the beginners like me. My guitar teacher at school is teaching it to us with this pattern.

  • you are good in explaining this lesson! I am on beginners class and this is one of our homework. thanks to you!

  • Thanks for the helpful video. Its difficult to me to keep playing the strumming pattern and sing at the same time, can you give me some advice please?

  • @sicopr2003

maybe master the strumming first and when you can do it in your sleep you could try and put the vocals on top.

  • @sicopr2003 There are several methods and tips that you can use to develop the ability to sing and play guitar at the same time. Each person has different wiring in the brain and some people seem to come into this relatively naturally. Myself, it took me a LONG time. I wish that I had the space to describe them all, but you can contact me here on YouTube if you want. Try humming the notes while playing first, or just use a "na na na" type of singing in place of the actual words at first.

  • hey buddy

  • very good looking and nice voice

  • Good video man, thanks a lot.

  • great lesson. Thanks, the tip on start to strum before you have the entire cord set is really helpful.

    cheers

  • The first time I have heard this with a different strum pattern. thanks much.

  • Thanks i have just bought a steel string guitar and find it vibrates a lot more then nylon would it be smarter to switch or just to stay with nylon.

  • that 1st finger 2nd finger 3rd finger trick is a true life saver, thanks

  • Is there a difference between steel strings or nylon and what do you prefer and why?

  • yes

guitars with steel strings tend to have much higher tension on the strings than nylon string guitars and much thinner necks. steel strings sound really good rhyhmically but not always easy to finger pick on. For folk i recomens steel and for pure classical sound nylon. I tend to use nylon all the time because I teach a lot much easier on the fingers

  • @DJ101100 I would also like to add that steel strings will ring for much longer, while the sound fades quicker on nylon. This is another reason why it is often better to finger pick on nylon, as the notes don't sound like they are running into each other. Nylon is nice to use for latin music. Also, a funny fact from personal experience: Nylon strings bounce out when they break, often giving you a nice whip on the arm. Steels just tend to fall when they snap:))

  • Great job man.

  • Not too long and very informative. Thanks a lot! I'm looking forward to some of your other stuff.
