i think i had the same issue when recording with fraps. I couldn't record sound because of my video card, my pc has two types of them, when i used the RGB card, everything went alright: video and audio. but the thing was when i tried to record with the HD video card. My audio was kind of mute. i dunno if some of this info could be useful, fellow. Best regards from Peru.
