  • great film...I bought a copy & it came in the mail very fast

highly recommend buying it & enjoying it!

  • This looks like an incredible film, I cannot wait to watch it. I wish it was available for download at itunes

  • @skoogmen It isn't available on iTunes, but you can get his second film, One Crazy Ride. I can't post a link here, but you should be able to search for it in Movies.

  • quick question - if he was solo and no other person accompanied him then how was he able to film himself riding along the road (like in a full view of him riding)? did he place the shooting camera on a tripod or something then go back and ride towards it? please explain.

  • @anuragsharma08 Yes that is exactly how it was done. Leave the camera, ride into the shot and come back to fetch the camera.

  • salute to gaurav jani, for such a wonderfull piece of video

  • I respect you so much!

  • I am definitely buying this film...looks amazing and inspiring...

now...what did I do with that old crash helmet.............

  • ORANGE TINTED KOALA BEARS

  • orange tinted koala bears

  • Orange tinted koala bears?

  • He must have invited folks to work the camera for him occasionally. At 1:11 or so, the camera definitely pans as it follows him riding away. Not taking anything away from the guy or anything, just clarifying. If anything, it maybe is more noteworthy that he trusted locals to hold his camera and risk them stealing it.

  • @mlaporte1 "risk them stealing it" is an unbelievably stupid comment mate. It shows you don't know too much about mountain villagers and what they want. They certainly don't want a camera! What would they do with it?!

  • I feel sorry for him filming all those beautiful shots of him leaving then having to double back to get the equipment.

  • Sir. You are inspiring. Great video. Stay safe,

  • Good point about the fuel thogh!

  • Typical indian states the obvious and doesnt do anything about it

  • I have the dvd and I love it. This guy is sooo brave. And filming everything on his own. Simply amazing.

  • Thanks man for the incredible journey. You are a real motobiker exploring the world

    Thanks a Lot

    Kong Man

  • He's Solo,he's riding solo....

  • i love you guys so much i think you guy are hot, cool, and sweet too.

  • can i ask where u sourced ur fuel from>?

  • I've just ordered the dvd,seems inspiring.

Does anybody know by chance what camera is used for recording.

  • Amazing.

  • This is truly a journey of a lifetime!!

  • ladakh is the pride of india

    and everyones invited

at 18,000 feet above the sea level its just u and ur lord

  • And another proof that you don't need a brand new BMW 1200GS for such a trip! =)

  • Oh shoot! how did I ever miss this. Watching long way round seems nothing great when compare with this "one man show" rider. Brilliant.

  • AWESOME FILM!!!

  • Would love to interview you sometime, this movie is a very well put together!

  • Excellent Video...I know you worked hard to make it.

  • wonderful film

but please have a look at our projekt

    london-delhi1

  • This is easy try biking around the world with a mountain bike and you will appreciate it more and it's good for environment too....

  • Sitting on your ass and not going anywhere is good for the environment too.

  • Who said that I'm only sitting ASSHOLE... GTFO RETARD!

  • Who said I was talking to you? Who said that I was even referencing you? Who even considered that as a insult?

    Please good sir.

    Think.

Riding around the world is no walk in the park either.

  • You reply (qoute) to me so you are referring to me... It's still easier, not healthier and it also cause pollution.

  • Easier in most aspects much more difficult in others. (Breakdowns are often catastrophic.)

Pollution, happens around the world regardless of what one man does while the rest of the world continues thickening the air with garbage.

A trip like this one is much healthier than say, the daily grind. Work, Sleep, Eat, work, eat, work, eat, sleep.

I'll say anyone who has the balls to go RTW on a bicycle. Is crazy. The kinda crazy I like. But going RTW on a motorcycle is still a feat by all means.

  • No matter what you said it's also add pollution... Yeah it happen and we need to lessen if for the sake of next generation

Only moronic doctor will say that riding motorcycle is healthier than biking... Crazy? I don't think so aside from being more healthier you don't need gasoline... If a motorcycle ran out of gasoline or it leaked in the middle of no where example dessert you're history... LMAO

  • Yes. A billionth of a fragment a country like india puts out a day. I requires everyone to lessen pollution for an extended amount of time.

You obviously don't know what I am saying. Reread it. I am saying. Its healthier for someone to ride around the world for 2 years than it is to sit around a work all day.

Because most people can't afford to put 10 years of their life aside to bike around the world they use motorcycles. Finding gas is one of those challenges.

    I'll stick to my motorcycle.

  • So why tell me those thing as if I'm only sitting! Don't quote me if you're not referring to me... That's my point!

  • I AM REFERRING TO YOU. DEAR JESUS. IF YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND ME WHY ARE YOU FIGHTING ME!

I ride 90km a week on a bicycle. I am saying is. compared to everyday working and eating this is much healthier to ride offroad. You have no clue what I am talking about. You don't understand how relaxing it is to ride and never ever stop.

  • is this dvd available in Nepal?

  • Well, what bravado and determination.

    Some breathtaking landscapes there -amazing.

  • That was singlehandedly the best moto trip footage I have seen on youtube. You are a inspiration. Thank you thank you, thank you!!

  • Awesome man!

  • Fantastic job man. I went to Ladakh but didn't rough it out like you and it was still a tough journey b/c of the altitude. I'm sure all the awards are well deserved. Being a motorcycle enthusiast, I hope to go back and do Ladakh on a motorcycle someday.

  • in such a remote location, how do you get gasoline for your bike?

  • Very impressive. If you were on the trail for 70 days, why only a video record for 7 minutes?

  • the trailer is really amazing...its unbelievable that you were the only person shooting & travelling...hats off to you...the editing is really great...

  • He must certanly come to Argentina, here are a great variety of terrains and beatiful scenarys!!!

  • Good one Gaurav!

  • amazing. Would have been nice if you'd had a map so we had at least some idea of where you were. You look indian? is this area open to non-Indians? What languages do they speak?

  • Yes, he is an Indian.

google search Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir(It's in India, if you'vent already figured that out)

Yes, this area is open to non-Indians, and they should be able to speak Hindi...and some english...the places shown in the video....none will speak or understand english.

It is better to ride with someone familiar to that place.

  • nice. but leaves much to be desired'
