You know what? I like your video, especially because you seem down-to-earth and generally pleasant. There's one thing, though, that got me off to a kind of bad start to this video, namely the preface that says, "Don't like it? Don't watch it."
That's it I'm getting this, I have soo much trouble finding my exact shade, this is actually a good deal since if u buy two separate colors just to get ur skin tone it would cost alot, and having them in one is much better, plus this you can use anywhere on ur face
I love your reviews, its honest and informative, I'm thankful for people like you when it comes time for beauty education. I love NARS and I have been using NARS since I was a teen, now I am in my later years, LOL
hi! i bought this at sephora today because the saleswoman recommended it to me and it seemed to work well. whats the best way to blend this - brush? finger? q-tip? the woman used one of those disposable eyeshadow applicator thing. but she almost dragged it around my dark circles which is bad because that area is sensitive.
This duo in Custard and Ginger is currently $10 at Sephora. Get it while you can! I grabbed 4 because it's my shade... I have the original stick version in Ginger and it works really well. Now I have a to go version.
thanks pinkiecharm! I bought this after watching your review and I love it. I have oily skin and I use this concealer for my red spots and blemishes, not for under the eyes because I don't have dark under eye circles. It stays put all day and blends in so well.
i tried this duo..was a return...went back to laura mercier ...one of my fav...try that...i am very very dry ...but i also use my absolute favorite moisturizer by philosophy hope in a jar for sensitive skin...love it !!! it helped my skin alot!!!!
Have you done a review for the other concealer by Benefit that you mentioned here that works really well with under eye circle coverage? I can't seem to find a review of that one... If you haven't done a review, can you make one, please?
I like how even though you don't prefer creme concealers, you still give an honest, unbiased review. Every other guru I watch, if it doesn't work for their skin (ie, wrong consistency or shade), they can't find anything good to say about it.
Which liquid concealers do you recommend? I too have very fair and dry skin and have always had a problem finding the right shades and consistencies for my skin. Right now I'm using a liquid foundation under my eyes - a suggestion from a MUA, it's working ok but i'd still like something better.... any suggestions are appreciated!!
i would e-mail you if i could. i can't find my own e-mail.
I would like to hear somthing on Almay products it's all i can use and i can't find many bright colors, or how can mix ones to change them up. any ideas?
thank you for the review and as always i love your personal comments.... anyone in retail come on honestly is it part of the job to be snobby i dont think so lol
also have you stated which liquid concealors you prefer since boing is pretty much a cream
lovevsabsence: It's a gorgeous color but in the video much of had worn off. It's much deeper but still wearable. It's one of my favorite lippies of all time. :)
I've been to Barney's in Seattle not too long ago and i agree...the sales clerks are SO pretentious!! But, it's like that where you go, neiman marcus and saks especially *sigh* The caveat is I do enjoy window shopping at those sort of shops tho!
I never understand why makeup companys call cream colours vanilla. am i missing something here cos i thought vanilla was black/brown? u no the vanilla pods? is that the vanilla they r refering to?
YOU ARE AN AMAZING GURU!!!!! thank you for every single review and video you do. You are the reason i made an account, because i wanted to subcribe to your videos. Thank you. :)
have you tried blending out the concealer with a MAC 224 --- since I saw pixiwoo doing that with Bobbi Brown concealer - that's what I use to put on bobbi brown concealer, or laura mercier concealer - or any concealer - it makes the application of any product cream product flawless. it might help with the creasing too - i've got dry skin too - especially around the eyes.
Try swirling the tip of a flat concealer blush in the product really fast and it will melt, get gooey and spread really nicely. It seems to crease less this way too. I just use a cheap-o elf brush and finish blending with a warmed finger tip. Have you tried benefit "hello flawless"? I saw it and though you would be interested in it for yourself if only for trying out. Also the"powderflauge" looks neat..But its not new. Thanks for the review ! ♪♫☼♫♪
Is the darker peachy (honey) good for undereye? Eve Pearl insists in peachy tones for undereye circles......and her videos really show that it works. Do you know anything about her dual concealor compacts thingys? I just know she's sooo expensive! I've watched some of her makeovers on Enkore's channel.
Oh, I thought you said you used the lighter one under your eyes....or maybe that one was called honey....I don't know....I had taken an Ambien so I could sleep. You're just lucky I didn' t ask you if you like cheeseburgers. I'm a fruitloop on ambien!
I'm so sick of dry patches on my skin..and then for a week one part will get oily and I'll get a crappy zit...and then the rest of my skin will be dry.
Anyone have a good idea for an intense night cream and a wonderful day cream? I have texture issues!!!!!!!!!
Also, your skin looks beautiful in this video! :)
Clinique has awesome creams. Lil bit expensive tho but they are really good. Maybe check website or go to a store that sells Clinique and ask the person there to help you out with your skin :) + is animal cruelty free.
I especially like the nars packaging. The single eyeshadows are really nice because I can never find single shadows anywhere else except...covergirl? And they don't stick a useless sponge tip applicator in there which I always end up throwing out since they stink.
if by single eyeshadows you mean eyeshadow that is sold in individual colors and not in palettes then MAC sells single eyeshadows. Urban Decay sells single eyeshadows. Smashbox sells single eyeshadows. BE sells single eyeshadows and of course Stila sells individual pans.
No sh&t lol, I went to a Chanel counter and they were soo rude i'm like wow, im not the one working here no offense but you dont own Chanel or Nars LOL ...some people...

i couldn't agree more with how snobby the anchor store workers are. I think they only get commishion. you would think that they would make themselves more approchable to make the sale.
hey irene i use the lemonade my benefit as a concealer and its a cream which is also hard to blend in my dry skin, so what i do is add a little bit of my moisturizer on the back of my hand and mix it with the concealer to get a good consistency and beldn it in my eye area. yeap :) love your reviews man keep them coming please
