Within FlightGear, I don't know. But what I do is I go to this website, FallingRain (dot) com. They have a list of airports there, complete with coordinates.
I get the coordinates of the airport that I want to go to and write those down. When I play FlightGear, I get refer to that.
Well, you should have the Longitude and Latitude coordinates for your destination airport. Depending on your present coordinates, you point your plane to an angle that brings you closer to your target coordinates.
Sooner or later, you see the flashing red lights of your destination's runway, so you slow down and gently align the plane to the runway and hope for the best. =)
(I'm really just an amateur and that's the way I did this landing.)
Hi, thanks for the hit. RPG's going but very slowly because I had to rewrite the text narration engine. Will be releasing a beta in a couple of weeks. =)
That's not something I can do because I don't have Windows. But you can help me...
You can download the package for Linux, extract and put the "quinarayan" directory in your Blender directory. "quinarayan" should be at the same level as your blenderplayer.exe.
Then, you need to open a CMD. "cd" to your Blender directory and type: blenderplayer.exe quinarayan\blends\QUINARAYAN.blend
That should start you up. Please tell me if that is the correct way in XP or if you find another way. =)
no offence but this sound makes it harder for our ears to watch!! Other than that it grt

Weird. Try "fallingrain (dot) com (slash) world", that seems to work. Then you can pick a place from the long list that they have there.
Or, you can always Google "longitude latitude [the airport that you like]". =)
