@gokomets77 Currently the monte is waiting on new cylinder heads. I sold the iron heads to get some AFRs sometime soon. I ended up with new 50 series and tailpipes in the end of all of this. It sounds best if you end the exhaust before the rear end but it makes trips nicer like this. I'm hoping for low 12's with the new heads and it will still be completely streetable.

this is what my suburban sounded like it was a 4 bolt 454 punched .060" crane cams supercharger series camshaft edelbrock intake and 850 cfm demon carbueator oh and the heads were from brodix badass motor ! it had 2and a half inch exhaust.

i agree with you man, the spintech definately sound way better and have less drone...but idk if spintech really is that much better than flowmaster, as far as flow and performance goes...not to mention when he had the flow's he also had turn-downs...now with the spintechs he has full exhaust to the bumper....which i imagine would damp'n the top end a bit...IF he had the spintechs with turndowns i would be willing to bet his e.t. didnt change... over his flow's with turndowns...thx. spintech may sound better than flowmaster but flow wise the spintech is extremely restrictive ive worked in a muffler shop since i was 15 and i have seen every performance muffler you can think of and spintech are the last muffler i would want on my car we have a customer that picked up 4 tenths in the quarter just by replaceing his spintechs with good ole flowmasters and i witnessed it the car ran 13.70s with the spintechs and ran 13.30s with the flowmasters and mufflers were the only change

Depends on where you go, but it's not very expensive for a muffler shop to add dual exhaust to a single exhaust ride. Under 200 dollars most likely.
