  • Hey lisa do you think that either of these tablets will get android 5.0 jelly bean when it comes out

  • I really enjoy your reviews, Lisa. Thank you.

  • @Brodakk Thanks! :)

  • Is it me or is the xyboards display better?

  • Prime is better!

  • yeah, no rubber... damn now i wont buy the transformer

  • nice review, how about the asus transformer prime 700 series that premiered at CES '12??

    thoughts?

  • Lol you can hurt someone with this thing

  • please review the archos g9 tablets

  • Would N-Trig active digitizer work on Asus Transformer Primer, too? Thanks for the great reviews.

  • @gustelj It doesn't have N-Trig support.

  • @MobileTechReview Hi, which one would you recommend for my Parents (non techy people) sony S or transform Prime?

  • Just seen the "new" Transformer Prime being shown at CES. It has a different back so the GPS should now be able to work properly, the edges look less tapered so should be more comfortable and have no exposed connectors and it has a higher 1920x1200 screen resolution. Priced at $100 more than the TF201. It basically looks like a "fixed" prime or what the prime should have been from the start.

  • Lisa! I loooove you and your reviews! <3 xoxo

  • @englando08 Thanks! :)

  • Ahmmm. Transformer prime just got an iCS update lol. Better redo this vid but with ICS already on the prime

  • love the xyboard need that3g/4g cant just depend on a internet connection when im on the go never been a fan of wifi tablets

  • no on-screen benchmark comparison. This smackdown could use some.

  • Lisa, this is a review of two heavy weights so it may be your best upload for Q1. I'd have to give it to the Prime overall. However, I found it strange you got less than 8 hrs of battery life on the Prime. The fifth core is supposed to work with the display saving power so that the battery will give more than 10 hrs w/o the dock, running a video on a loop.

    Anyway, much appreciated.

  • I LUV U LISA!!!!

  • Since I can hurt someone with the XYBoard I no longer will have to carry my Glock, so it's the obvious choice here, LOL.

But seriously I listen to tons of tech reviewers here on YouTube and Lisa is far and away the best!

  • @stjj6641 just wondering, do you own one?

  • Best Tech reviewer on Youtube. Best info on electronics and best recommendations!

  • @parkn63 Thank you!! Please share our reviews with others. Thanks! :)

  • Think with the Xy

  • Xyboard = locked bootloader ->one year of support from Motorola and thats it.

Transformer Prime = tool to unlock bootloader ->endless support and custom roms from XDA.

'nough said. By choosing to buy the unlocked tablet we communicate that we want open hard/software.

  • @clouds5 locked bootloader? If it was locked wouldn't there be some kind of posting about it on droid-life or androidcentral or something? The Xoom was unlockable why wouldn't this be as well? Also I'd like to know where you're getting that horse crap about support for it, since Moto is still actively supporting the original Xoom and that sold in pititful numbers and didn't have Droid branding behind it...

  • @mak450 I dont own a tablet yet (ordered Transformer Prime) and I only repeated Lisas statement about the bootloaders. As far as i know all Tegra2 devices are rootable even with locked bootloaders because of a nvidia tool called nvFlash. There is always a chance that some guy finds a whole in a device and unlock it. But ASUS anounced that they release an official tool for it. I like that decision.

About the support, that was an assertion. We will see how long the xoom gets updates.

  • Lisa~ between the first transformer and the prime.. which is better value? why dont you do a prime vs the first transformer? that should be interesting~

  • My Prime is supposed to arrive on the 10th. Pretty freaking excited.

  • @MercenarySlick Congrats! Please do let us know how you like it!! Thanks. :)

  • The prime is too damn expensive dammit. I feel like I have to give my first born child's soul to afford one. Guess if you own a smartphone and a netbook you don't really need a tablet. But it would have been nice to own one. Oh and don't listen to those haters Lisa, your reviews are great.

  • @ds37 What haters?

  • @MercenarySlick He might have deleted his comment but it was full of hatred and I don't why but nevermind. If they don't like nobody forced them to come watch her reviews or even comment.

  • @ds37 Thank you for all your support! Really appreciate it!! :)

  • You know, vid reviews should be, at least for me, more about things you cant get to see on paper. Watching your reviews, I feel like I am reading the review.

  • @LubomirDohnal Please realize we show how each tablet does different tasks in each of their individual reviews. We don't want to repeat what we did there, this is to sum it up for those who watch our reviews of each tablet but still can't decide. LOL. ;) So do watch those reviews.

  • I guess its just me, but your reviews seem to be way too descriptive, full of analysis, with little practical usage, not enough stress put on actual fluidity and smoothness, especially of android devices

Not saying its bad, just not my cup of tee.

  • don't forget that the rubber gets sticky over time

  • I'm thinking of replacing my laptop with the transformer prime w/ dock. Can you make a video comparison with the pros and cons vs a laptop ;]?

ps. Thanks for your great vids!

  • @nottsuna tablets can't replace a desktop pc/lapto ( maybe in the near future ) i bought the asus prime because i wanted something light/portable. asus prime tablet lets you do lots of things but i would suggest you keep your laptop.

i just bought a torrent client for it and it lets me dl tv shows and all that, also bought a nes emulator =] been playing nintendo/genesis roms =D btw: 1080p hdmi movies look awesome!

  • Lisa thank you!!

  • Agree with most, love your reviews. I can't believe people think it's ok to be so mean on the internet. If I could find that man rude kid I'd beat his but for you.

  • asus prime!

    Android = your way!

    crApple = their way!

  • Lisa you look hot

  • Just the smackdown I was looking for. Great comparison as always!

  • @pspuppy Thanks! :)

  • Lisa I love ur reviews don't listen to haters

  • @MrGfrausto ..i dont think anyone is a hater..

  • Lisa, thanks for your informative reviews. I just read on AndroidAuthority that the xyboard has a wifi only model shipping in a couple weeks. With this news....does it change your review or recommendation at all?

  • @thelastbill1 No, that's pretty competitive pricing.

  • Man, Xyboard is a horrendous brand name. Cringe every time I hear it. Refuse to say it out loud.

  • Suryoyo, you obviously are an immature person hon, and Lisa is not gonna worry about you. Stop watching then but the rest of us ENJOY & think Lisa's reviews are the best.

  • @Suryoyo123457 so why do u bother watching them fool? Lisa your reviews are very informative, thank you!

  • I heard something like "it's build like a tank" "you can hurt somebody with this ? lol

  • Comment removed

  • I can hurt someone with xoom oO? Win for motorola ;D

  • Great Review! Helped me make my decision. Thanks!

  • Witch Twitter Client do you use on your tablets?

  • The prime hands down

  • Lol @ you can hurt somebody with it. I'm gonna hit somebody in the face with my tablet :)

  • Through the camera xyboard screen looks much better

  • Hey lisa, i love your reviews! Great comparison! Bless! :)

  • Another great comparison - Thanks!

I'd really like to have GPS on one of these so it looks like the Xoom2 / XyBoard for me.

Shame about the prime, really liked it - may wait for the Transformer Megatron - and another lawsuit from Hasbro ;).

  • lisa , wich tablet do u recommend cause im going to buy the asus and i dont want to be disapointed and im only using it for entertaiment like gaming , web browsing , using apps ETC , and i dont need a gps cause i got nokia maps on my n8 and n9 please reply :)

  • @MileyGagaBoy If you're into gaming and entertainment and don't need the GPS, the Transformer Prime is a great choice.

  • @MobileTechReview THANK YOU LISA <3

  • @MobileTechReview

Did you have any light bleed? The Trans Prime I got from BestBuy had some slight bleed from the edges due to internal LCD bezel stress.

  • @Inverter222 Yes, we mentioned it in our video review of the Prime. We have light bleed on the right side at two places.

  • @MobileTechReview i'm a tenth grader and i was wondering if the nook tablet is a good choice for school and casual use (i.e. angry birds, netflix, and facebook, web browsing)

  • Once again, a great video review. Still undecided though. Both look very good.

  • I am thankful for my sold a500

  • I wish for the day that I could have at least one of those. Another great comparison!

  • Was gonna say first but i didn't want to be a dick wagon.

  • 10x for the comparison :P
