Dude go 4.30s i did 4.10s and regret not going 4.30s, go to mach1registry . c o m and they will tell you the same, you MPG will actually go up in town and if you slow down 10mph on the highway it will stay the same.

I agree man...I used to have a 97 cobra and put 4.10s...really woke the car up but afterwords I was kicking myself in the ass for not going 4.30s. I was knocking down 24.5 mpg on the highway at 75 mph with a/c runnin and after hitting a few onramps hard on the way and racing a couple dudes on the interstate so gas milage isn't a factor, more acceleration definately is....gears REALLY wake up 4vs

If you dont got gears get th em dude 4.30s are the best ones, you stillb e sitting at 2.8K rpms at 75mph in 5th gear, and will really wake up your acceleration from a stop.

not sure about the other cars if you where talking about them but the mach was launching at 3k rpms wanted to take it easy on it since i didnt want to brake anything.
