Still got a few bugs to work out on the game, a few things that need some overhaul, but its more fun in a MMO than ive had in a long time. (Played WoW, AoC, WAR, EQ2, and FFXI.) As to the guy with the one button combat thing... youd be suprised by how much strategy is ACTUALLY involved in this game. You attack with one button true, but its not about multiple skills its about timeing, movement knowing when to swing, how to move.

You maybe waiting another month or two. Most of us in Beta agree that it should be delayed another month or 2. Thiers a few bugs yet to squish and the crafting system right now needs work. Subway and Quiznos just make sandwiches... Wow keeps adding expansions which threw the game off balance. When Wow came out, it was mostly pve based, now it seems that pvp is the way to go. Eventually people will get bored of Wow sooner or later. Darkfall on the other hand, it's by far much different with Wow. You're not as limited and it won't be based off from gear but SKILL.
Best movie i ever saw (and ive seen alot) about darkfall cuz it represents everything the game is meant to be.now im much more pumped to play this game!

Im getting more and more interested in this. Whole thing seems really RP friendly, and i like the fact that its alot like UO. But the graphics could use alittle finetuning, and those dark people, they are really fugly sad to say :/.. But overall i think it looks and seems like a good game. Gonna give it a try
I was a wow player, got tired of it, I am currently playing WAR inbetween darkfall I cannot absolutely wait for darkfall to come out. I am simply tired of button mashing non skill related players who just zerg and win. Thats what all these mmos that are out now come down to, but now with darkfall you can really stand out of the crowd with your own individual talents and thats what mmo's need. This game combines all 3 types of games into one, RPG, RTS, and FPS, and combines land and sea. Amazing.
in response to what you just said iZAPUXX i HAVE seen the new wintergrasp crap where there's siege bs because my younger brother plays it, WoW is getting tiresome and is overplayed/repetative end of story. Intelligent comments from ignorant people. Love it. Conan failed because it tried to do both PVE and PVP. It used a class and level system (which for pvp sucks), its economy was not based on player crafting, the sieges were instanced, the dungeons were instanced, everything was instanced. The game will be out in a month with no advertising or commercials, only word of mouth. Hence no hype compared to AoC. AoC never tried to do what DFO is going to do, because it couldn't, it was not built for it

if you've played oblivion you'll get the general idea of how it will work ..
it all about using your shield to block the enemies attack stricking at the enemy when they lower or are unable to protect themselves.
keep in mind this game has a fully working first person system so you can block and fight just like any medevil war mod which is great...
just the thought of a mmorpg with the ability to actually AIM your arrows with archer is a WIN for me. or place you spells at certain (continued)

there is speed hacks teleportation hacks loot hacks and radar hacks ..
and pretty much everyone in the game uses them.

AV have already said its ok you use a 3rd party program to level you char skills for you "as long as you not in a city"

i bet that most gamers will not enjoy this because now instead of sitting on your ass all day leveling by pointing and clicking is a habit. while actually having to "aim" in a way, kinda ruins it and you have to actually CONCENTRATE. also requiring skill will definitely stop people from playing. look at AOC, Rune and a few other mmo's that require skill, they all SUCKED.

Subway and Quiznos just make sandwiches... Wow keeps adding expansions which threw the game off balance. When Wow came out, it was mostly pve based, now it seems that pvp is the way to go. Eventually people will get bored of Wow sooner or later. Darkfall on the other hand, it's by far much different with Wow. You're not as limited and it won't be based off from gear but SKILL.

I must say I really like the idea in this game that u r free to do anything u want. But the pb I have with this game that it's another fantasy mmo game. I hope it will have success.
I'm a more of a sci-fi and I hope Earthrise Online have the same ideas that this game has. If it doesnt I would prob try this out.

Im getting more and more interested in this. Whole thing seems really RP friendly, and i like the fact that its alot like UO. But the graphics could use alittle finetuning, and those dark people, they are really fugly sad to say :/.. But overall i think it looks and seems like a good game. Gonna give it a try

I was a wow player, got tired of it, I am currently playing WAR inbetween darkfall I cannot absolutely wait for darkfall to come out. I am simply tired of button mashing non skill related players who just zerg and win. Thats what all these mmos that are out now come down to, but now with darkfall you can really stand out of the crowd with your own individual talents and thats what mmo's need. This game combines all 3 types of games into one, RPG, RTS, and FPS, and combines land and sea. Amazing.

i never said darkfall is a bad game, in fact i agree it looks very good, but theres no way anyone can deny the fact wow is good. just because its boring to some doesnt mean is a bad game. and everyone calling me a fanboy yes i am a fanboy, although i dont even play wow anymore i still think they are doing a great job with it.

Intelligent comments from ignorant people. Love it. Conan failed because it tried to do both PVE and PVP. It used a class and level system (which for pvp sucks), its economy was not based on player crafting, the sieges were instanced, the dungeons were instanced, everything was instanced. The game will be out in a month with no advertising or commercials, only word of mouth. Hence no hype compared to AoC. AoC never tried to do what DFO is going to do, because it couldn't, it was not built for it
