Thanks John Clarke for playing Hurricane Smith on 2fm in Ireland and enabling me to discover this great artist and thanks to all the people on youtube who have uploaded his songs, allowing other generations to enjoy them.
I am 59, and I really love this kind of music. Maybe, the fact, that we can sing along, the words arent filth, and the message is love. I guess I must be so old fashion.
That was in 1977. Just 5 years later, in 1982 Taco used the *VERY* same voice setting and effect(s) to do his Puttin' On The Ritz rendition. That too was the reason that I was mistaking this song to be Taco's for a long time.
I absolutely love your voice and remember from the 70`s when I was a teen. omg, 16 and rememer "O Babe what would you say". I am now fifty and request this song weekly. thankfully my local radiio station. 93.7 the breeze, here in florida played it for my birthday request and hopefully are burning me a c.d with this song that I ADORE so much and have had memories since the 70`s.......

Norman Smith. Abbey Road. If it weren't for this great music engineer many hits wouldn't have been as we know them.

Hey, Ambrosia Clementine, where are you. Would like to hear your comments on this one. This seems to be the kind of music you relate to.
