  • It's cool how he is a perfect and well spoken gentleman.

  • Man i wish Guy Fawkes would come back and actually do that to the government and parliament of the United Kingdom because i think that the people of The UK could run the country 10 times better than the government

  • when he starts laughing maniacally, Evee is probably thinking "Why did I follow the strange masked man?"

  • So Fucking Beautiful..... Anyone care to Accompany me to Cleopatra's Needle?

  • I couldn't imagine anyone besides Hugo Weaving playing that character. He's a great actor.

  • 4 people were relatives of Mr.Creedy

  • V has gotta be the Most AWESOME person ever. Any guy who is Smart , Political , BADASS AND loves Classical music is definitely awesome :)

  • sometimes you just gotta love that evil inside you

  • Got to love the performance Hugo Weaving gives as V!

  • @IllWilledandhappy You do realise I was referencing to what he says?

  • @Redhotice54 yes I do I fust said that is is beautiful.

  • @IllWilledandhappy Fair do's :)

  • I loved the graphic novel, but it's scenes like this that no amount of ink could ever match :D

  • @peter1x2 Graphic novel? WHERE?!

  • BUAHAHAHAH fothermucker!

  • Probably my favourite scene of the movie. The really cheesy monologue from Portman at the end really lets down the grand finale for me.

  • lol I am pretty sure he came when he said

    "wait here comes the cresceeeendo"

  • [i'm ita] LOL! In Italian V has got a voice as a schizophrenic! :D

  • Absolutely superb

  • Fantaaaastic

  • Look outside mommy, they're playing music!!!

  • remember, remember the 5th of november..

  • @Futbolballerina

    :DDDRight on!!! And,ofcourse,Long Live V!

  • "Ahhhh, beautiful, is it not?!?!"

  • This has to be the best film I have ever seen.

  • @BlueZephyrTG I couldn't agree more with anyone else right now. Absoloutly spectacular movie.

  • The first time I saw this movie in the theater I was amazed and loved it for it's relevance of things that the country was going through at the time. I think I must've seen it atleast 9 or 10 times in the theater. BUT !! in honor of this movie and it's message of defiance against tyranny, oppression and injustice I sneaked in and watched it 8 or 9 times. I don't think it does the movie justice that I pay $8.75 or $11.00 for a ticket to see a movie about sticking it to the MAN. Long Live V !

  • @Futbolballerina This was based in an alternate future you make it sound like this happened, but yes otehrwise I fully agree.

  • "Concerto", "Crescendo"....hearing Hugo Weaving while he is speaking Italian words is priceless.....

  • In the comics Evey was a prostitute.

    The moar you know.

  • Thumbs up if you wanta do this to your government, or better yet, your school!

  • this thing started back when Bush was in white house and it's obviously a liberal response to Iraqi war. The problem is the response to him got into power, he delivered a few speeches, he won nobel prizes, AND he immediately started another war(he didn't close the prison and he didn't withdraw the troop from the war he owed his political rise to)

  • @eatfastnoodle Except that it started out as a Comic book in 1982. Nice try though. Reagan was in the White house starting in 1981 and Carter was there from 77 - 81. V was an idea and in development before Reagan took the White House...so by your logic this must be a response to the Jimmy Carter years.

  • @eatfastnoodle

Incorrect. Alan Moore wrote the original comic in the 1980s based on his prediction if the Labour government won the 1983 election, it would disarm England's nuclear weapons. Thus England would survive the nuclear war, only for the government to be crippled by the its economy, allowing for fascists to take over.

  • Not anymore!!!!!

  • Such a brillant, brillant film >:-D

  • I was waiting for the fireworks to make the full "V" logo then when it ended I was like,"Awwwee!!"

  • this scene is simply just absolutely hilarious!!!

  • "Wait! Here comes the crescendo!!"

Love Hugo Weaving to death, no homo. <3

  • Natalie Portman + Tchaikovsky = brilliance

  • @NStenO black swan

  • @NStenO you said natalie+ tchaikovsky is briliance.black swan is based on tchaikovskys swan lake and natalie portman is in it. so i just confirmed your statement :)

  • @Vampiresss8 Ok good, I thought that you thought that I wasn't aware of that, which would've made my original statement a bit stupid. Glad you agree :D

  • Who else saw the V in a circle at the very end? Probably everyone. Haha. I was acctually looking for this song because of Artemis Fowl, and only knew this song because of this movie.

Remember, Remember the Fifth of November.

  • @NnyxClepto the gunpowder treason and plot, i know of no reason the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.

  • @NnyxClepto from Artemis Fowl? He spoke about this music in the books? I don't remember.

  • @MrSheogorath Sort of. Right when he gets the Fairy Gold from Holly and the LEP it says something to the effect of 'Artemis could imagine the 1812 Overture playing'. I just HAD to look it up.

  • You know Bin Laden should take some lessons from V. Anyone can hijack a plane, its takes skill to make terrorism an art.

  • @Chefodeath terrorism and revolution are separated by a very very thin line

  • @Chefodeath lolnowhesdead

  • @Chefodeath

the difference between V's terrorism and Bin Laden's (as well as our own government) is that innocent people were not harmed.

and V sought freedom and hope. his terroristic acts united a nation for the common good, not for war (or oil)

  • @Chefodeath yes like the Hiroshima and Nagazaki A bombs...

  • I have a friend whose birthday is on the fifth of November. I always recite that little speech for him before I give him his present.

  • now the brass... :)

  • We would get through a lot of old baileys though, and it's not as if the British government is swimming in cash at the moment... Still nothing beats a good explosion! :-)

  • November 5th should be celebrated this way EVERY YEAR.

  • @MattakuNoKoohai should be a holiday

  • this for me is my fav film. I watched it on a whim and afterwards saw it another 10 times. no joke. very clever film and how its filmed is brilliant. amazin camera work and effects. love this film.

Three score barrels of powder below,

    Poor old England to overthrow:

With a dark lantern and burning match.

  • a review by the daily telegraph said it was an explosive preformance form mr v and the entire orchestra ive the building were blown away by his skills

  • Thumbs up if you absolutely love the psychotic laugh by V in this scene

  • Remember, remember the Fifth of November,

    The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,

    I know of no reason

    Why Gunpowder Treason

    Should ever be forgot...

  • The greatest song to blow shit up to!

  • V is NOT a terrorist. A terrorist does anything for his cause, no matter the cost of how many of whose lives. V did not attack civilians. His fight was strictly with the government. The other people he killed was on his personal vendetta, so yes- he could be considered a murderer, but NOT a terrorist.

  • @neverletgo45 "Terrorism is the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion" I'm positive he was trying to instill fear into the government, so he is infact a terrorist. -- if the movie was real. -_-

  • @teholdgreg touche, touche. I guess I didnt really do my research. He can be considered a freedom fighter though. I believe someone says in the movie- one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

  • no someone said that before maby it was bush

  • @neverletgo45 Twas about to use that last line...

Gotta love an evil laugh on a chaotic good character...

  • what about what he put masks on a TV crew then had some guard nearly killed just so he could pop up behind the enemy . he wanted people to get killed the scene were the little girl was shot was planned somehow she and the other guy that made a joke about adam sulter lived but v still tryed to kill a few average people

  • 2:06 oooowwh BEATIFUUUUL not!!?

  • Remember, remember, the 5th of November.

  • The guy who plays V is Agent Smith
