Hey guys! Me and my friend just released our first official trance song and we would like to know what YOU think! Please help us to fulfil our dream and check out our channel and preview for song "Louder!". If you like our song, please thumbs up! =)
@Murukku47 Yeah, I just mixed the music via Windows Movie Maker when I was editing the clips together. I tried to beatmatch it the best I could, but obviously it was a bit off. Now I use mixing software and even a Denon Controller. - Things have evolved! :D - Thanks for the kind suggestion though! It is a good tip for others.
Thank you for the compliment! :) I love seeing people from around the world unite through music.
I've fallen in love with classics all over again just recently, so I'm definitely trying to work them and less mainstream tracks into these videos as much as I can. However, most of them are beyond my ability to play as of right now. C Sharp was the last song that I learned just minutes before recording, if you watch again you'll see me playing it out below the spacebar to make sure my timing is right. But in the end, it paid off! :D
Haha, i saw your small practicing XD, and it sure did pay off . and ALEX MORPH! I just remembered one of his amazing songs
Alex M.O.R.P.H. - Walk the Edge
did you play that song by any chance in any of your songs?
p.s. : how do the sennheiser hd 555's sound ? I currently own a pair of sennheiser hd 280 pros. But i feel it lacks bass, how to the sennheisers 555's do for trance/techno/dance/electro/house music?
Nope, I haven't played that! I'll look into seeing about picking up the tune and dropping it into a future (possibly next) video though! :) Thanks for the suggestion!
The headphones are AMAZING! I love them! They kinda bleed sound a bit though, meaning you shouldn't wear them on an airplane with your volume up. People next to you can easily hear. but these things have a good handle on bass, yet if it gets to be TOO loud, it rattles the speakers inside pretty bad, but I highly recommend these!!
Alright, you're like the 8785718th person to suggest that lol, so I guess I should finally listen to someone! Stay tuned for my videos, and I'll try to make one doing just that either late tonight or tomorrow. I have been to busy to sit down and teach myself songs lately, so it will give me something to put up. :) -- Thanks for the comment.
It was all the same synth, the same that I've used for the other mixes, I just toy with the cutoff knob every once in a while.
I don't have any midi files. It's 100% by ear/self-taught. I channel everything (not just FL Studio) to record through my sound card, instead of my microphone. So, I ran Winamp in the background playing the proper mp3 and I just played in FL Studio over it. If that makes sense. :)
thats good!! keep going...

You should beatmatch the songs. It's easy to do in FL Studio using the "Fit to tempo" feature.

@SELG88 The effects? The VSTi I used is ReFX Nexus, and the preset is Arpeggiate Me in the Dance Leads category.

The Quest - C Sharp
I always thought that was one of the less mainstream trance, compared to what you played in your other keyboard megamixes xD awesome playing!

Great synths for the songs, and I was wondering if you had the midi files for the songs, or were you playing the mp3's under your synths?
