I can't explain the rogue, but the blinding on the hunter gear's helm is there becuase being hunter, you uses your "sences", like, "Sence Humindoids". Lore wise, a hunter can uses his sences just as well as his eyes, so lore wise, the blinding of the eyes would be chill.
