  • Beautiful!

  • Okay, fine, that's a pile of shit. You really show your stuff by tying an imported horse up and making it dance in its own shit. Proud of you. What about around 1:11 where he's "dancing" backward toward the back of the "wood" surface where it drops off? Great training. Why don't you "show your horse's abilites" when he isn't tied up to posts, hmm?

  • Unless you are there with the person and animals i don't think you have any business bitching on a internet media website. If you think you know better i hope you have scientific as well as veterinary proof and a backup video to prove your theory, otherwise i just see you as a damn internet troll wasting the space that could be conserved for more educational responses.

  • @kornball83

Also if you look at 0:56 you can see where the beams of boards support wood, damn trolls.

  • Das ist krank !!

    :(

  • It is not concrete I am the owner and trainer its wood.

Never ruined a horse this is just to show his abilities he is worked on soft ground, the wooden board is just to hear the beats of the hoofs. Please dont judge unless you know exactly what your talking about thanks for watching

  • The horse is tied up against both of the cross ties and the guy is tapping him.

  • The horse is obviously distressed, he is wringing his tail this way and that the entire time. This was done FAR too long.

  • @Appaloosapinto Don't they sometimes wring their tails if they are concentrating too?

  • It doesnt even look like cement! it doesnt sound like cement! its most likley plywood or something of the nature! But a beautiful horse!

  • I don't think he's on cement. I think its a thick plywood.

  • rubber shoes would protect his feet from the hard pavement. as a student of vet medicine, i recommend this to prevent ringbone and laminitis.

  • @tiggerluver4eve - tapping is not cruel. Dancing is something taught to and learned by the horse. If the horse didn't like it, it would be outta there FAST.

  • @PandoraForLife13 how do you know that they are abusing this horse. If the horse was being whipped it would be sweating, frothing at the mouth, have the whites of it's eyes showing, and be breathing heavily. The horse was even completely relaxed at the end of the video, and many cross ties are made of cement. Even the 5 year old girls who ride at my riding school know the difference between a distressed horse and one one concentrating on a difficult but graceful manuver!

  • A wish dat my horse doo that too how tt teach it

  • just wondering, is it bad to keep doing that for that long? I've only seen it done for less than 20 seconds.

  • none of you obviously realize that you can get a horse to piaffe with out beating it. you want to know the real reason they got this horse to piaffe? they tie the horses up like that and whip them until they learn to frantically trot in place. i have no idea how you sick bastards can call that "dancing"

  • @PandoraForLife13 You've never been to a riding school in Spain have you. These horses are worth huge amounts of money because of the effort that has gone into training and breeding them abd are cared for very well. If you tied a horse up and whipped it, do you really think you would get this balanced, beautiful dressage movements? Or just a horse in blind panic? Don't outright lie about training when you know nothing about it.

  • @omgu8mynewt yeah, because i can totally believe that these horses are well cared for when they have to preform on cement and live in a place like that. mind you, i have ridden and trained a piaffe to an ex race horse. that horse is all nervous energy, anything that educes nervous energy in a horse is destructive to them physically and mentally. i ride french classical dressage, and we do all the same stuff, just with out the abuse and pain

  • Does anyone else see the giant crack in the concrete behind where his back right hoof is?? Does anyone else worry about injuries?? That's a big f*cking horse, and I bet if he misstepped on the drop in the cement, he'd snap a tendon with all that weight.

This is stupid and cruel. yeah, you could say, 'oh, but he loves the work!'

    I call bullsh*t.

  • @emilyrunnes the crack in the wood (because concrete doesn't sound like that) is actually a pile of shit. now, the corner out of the wood behind his left hind might be a concern....

  • very well done amigosxxx

  • Those are cross ties. The horse isn't trained tied up, the horse is trained in hand. Now that he is trained, he can perform a piaffe in cross ties. This horse already knows his shit, thus eliminating need for rabble about him being on cross ties (which they also do at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna). So calm down and bask in the glory of this stunning piaffe.

  • Das arme Pferd !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Actually, at about 0:43 to 0:50 you can see that the rope IS tied up on the right side pole at least (because there is a rope going outward to that side but it doesn't go past the pole). There is also a rope going to the other side but the man might be holding that one, I can't really tell.

  • Solche Spacken !

  • oh for the love of god, stop saying this is cruel. look at this horse. no pain. no hesitation. well muscled, and plenty of weight on him.

  • I agree with everyone. This Piaffe is waaaaay too long. And especially on a hard surface like that (wood, concrete, whatever it may be). But still, wonderful looking horse. Very fluid, flowing movements in his legs. Beautiful! Just try to shorten the length of the exercise and do it on softer ground. :)

  • Anyone can see that the horse is in fact tied to the posts, and the man on the other side of him is whipping him......

  • Ok, beautiful piaffe, BUT, we are not idiots and you can clearly see he is cross tied to two posts concreted into the ground. Piaffe on concrete is outrageous & will destroy his legs..end of story. This exercise is performed for FAR too long.

He has lovely movement but I wouldn't recreate this too often, as you will ruin your horse I promise you.

Otherwise-beautiful stallion, maybe you should concentrate on passage now in a nice soft forgiving school. :) He has the natural ability & muscle

  • @ducati916chick I agree completely with you!! Great comments!

  • why do people think this horse hates this? his ears aren't back and laying flat actually instead he looks as if he enjoys this....if his ears were laying flat then he would have kicked that man easily because that meant he would be angry....trust me when a horse wants to go it goes nothing can stop it....it's hundreds of pounds vs your own....it's a no contest the horse would win

  • i began training my horses to do piaffe, and i dont see why everyone gets so sensitive about this. sure it looks cruel but do you not see how easy it is at top level dressage, without any whip and witout been tied up, so stop your complaining!

  • @tiggerluver4eve not all dancing horses are trained abusively. these people for instance have taught him using a less confining method. and what seems to be a positive reinforcement. when the horse lifted his feet and head and kept the rythem he lightened his taps on his rump when he lowered his head and slacked in the feet he tapped a bit rougher the thing i noticed and liked was that despite how the horse kept lowering his head the man never hit him hard just adjusted the taps

  • thats awful your making the horse piaffe on concrete i can only imagine how long he was doing before they recored the video........good job for ruining a very beautiful horse

  • oh boy, what's that for nasty stuff !!! crazy !! Why did they do that !!! Poor horse !!!

  • I agree with that comment, too long if a piaffe.

    VVV

  • Would have been a wonderful piaffe from a quite calm horse if it stopped at, say, 0:10 . afterwards its just too much. The horse is getting tired of it and you see that, the guy is puting a bit too much pressure on him, he starts shying away, and his tail whips around all the time, which is sign of nervosity. And anyway, you can't force a horse into such a long piaffe. It's tiring and hard for the horse to keep the movement up, especially if you get shied up everytime you lose the rhytm.

  • @1234gimmeascream i aggree,and on concrete,too.

  • i got a son of this horse he dances higher than his dad

  • I hate this art of train a horse, its the most brutal I know to get the piaffe into a horse brain. At least a human must only stand near the horse and it "dance". Result is a broken horse full of fear.

  • Oh my god.

    WHIP.

    Thats such a terrible thing:O

    NOT....

Whips are tools, you know that this horse is not being cruelly beaten, a whip is a cue.

  • Oh if only you knew how this is taught...Those pillars are used to cross tie the horse and then he is whipped until he begins to "dance" in place.

  • this is a beautiful horse ! i love it !

  • it is not hitting it is just a little they reuire but i do see a little whip going on. In my ranch we dont hit are horses we bearley tap them because they enjoy dancing with no abuse. check my channel out to see how the horses should be treated

  • At 0:17 u can see the whip :(

  • dyremisshandling at hesten er bundet fast i stolper

  • jus cuz ur big ass is behind the horse dont mean we cant see u hit him. dick

  • I agree that this horse doesn't look happy at all- every ordinary person can see this- but that's maybe because it's tied and has to do this too long.

But anyway i love the horse. It's so beautiful!

  • hallo

  • I think he is a great example of a good-natured horse,Which horse is good when it is hit?

This horse shakes his head, hitting his tail,

and braced his back, all signs of discomfort

I'm studying horse psychology and the natural movement, and at this point I say for a man who does not really concerned with horses find something beautiful, but we need to inform people about such things, because never see someone literally "behind the curtain"

  • I think he is a great example of a good-natured horse,Which horse is good when it is hit?

  • um, does this horse have any legs left after all that pou

    ding the concrete?

  • this is not dressage retards, its a form of training using poles to tie the horse (yes he is tied to them), and using a whip to train him to lift his legs. This is by no means dressage, it takes yrs&yrs to train a horse to piaffe properly and with relaxation, this horse is by no means relaxed, he is tense in the back and has his ears pinned. at 1:04 and 1:18 the horse obv. gets hit with the whip and it makes him leap forward. A horse doing a proper piaffe has lowered hindquarters, not this guy

  • @tiggerluver4eve depends on the trainer. some are abusive, but some teach the correct way, such as these men. they arent slapping or hitting, they are most likely tapping. gorgeous movement by the way.

  • bad way to teach a horse the piaffe ...!

  • this is horrible...:o not a horse can dance so long !!

  • when he slips on that shitty piece of concrete, i don't think you'll be very happy.

  • Em did nobody notice the 2 pillars each side of that beautiful horse. That is where he is tied and whiped into doing as they want him 2 do. If u cant see that then u really are stupid. U can teach a horse dressage but u need a bond between u and the horse!

  • @judi9423 agreed. they were forcin that poor horse to dance. Makes me sick >.>

  • Honestly, I see this all the time back home in central america... the horses are used to doing this. They are bred with tons of stamina. Stop whining and dont act like you dont tap some of your horses with a crop once in awhile. Jeesus. Worse then PETA. That horse tons of muscle definition hes fine.

  • are you hurting him =s

  • @LetsFlyOnceMore then what do you call the noise at 1:18 and the horse leaping forward? Definitely not a "tap" It's a long time to be prancing in one place, it's completely different muscles and much harder on the horse. So it went from not using the whip to a tap... Yeah maybe you should pay more attention to the video you're commenting on before you make yourself look like an asshole

  • This isn't a piaffe. This is a "dancing horse". Why on earth would you play Hispanic music while a horse piaffes in crossties? It's because people who train horses to "dance" believe they need the music to keep a rhythm. This horse is not trained in dressage. Someone tied him up like this to keep him in place and used a whip to teach him to lift his legs. NOT how you train a piaffe.

  • @LetsFlyOnceMore actually he does use the whip "mate" look at :12, the horse jumping away from the whip at :38, 1:03 (the horse getting frustrated and wanting to get away), 1:18 the man actually smacks this horses legs causing him to leap forward! You cannot tell me that there was no whip used and that the horse actually enjoys that. If he stops as soon as the whip is put down the horse doesn't like it, also that was far too long to be doing that. The horse was bored and tired.

  • Bastard

  • poor horse.. motherfucker what are you doing with this poor horse ?

  • this is animal cruelty.

A work out like this should be a lot shorter. This is really a hard task for any horse, and look how wet he is.

    Porr, beautyfull horse

  • poor thing... :-(

  • He looks like he's having a good time, but next time I suggest that you clean up the poop before working him (for his own safety and comfort)

  • He has better ryhthem than I do. I don't kow that is cruel. It's a good work out and if he wasn't enjoying himself I am sure he wouldn't do it. My Uncle raises horses and when they are stubborn and don't want to do something they won't no matter what you do. It's no different than you and me dancing for a minute. Good cardio workout and you feel good afterwards. It would be cruel if they didn't take care of him.

  • Does he ever get a break???? That's ridiculous. As much as piaffe is a natural movement, no horse should be forced to do it for that long. That's not natural. That's cruel.

  • tthe horse is doing a complicated dressage movement, it's not abuse u idiots , its called a piaffe

  • poor horse.....sigh..i just cant stand watching youtube when i see these videos ..and instead of seeing true horsemanship..i see ignorant ppl trying to flaunt their wares of a poorly trained neurotic horse i wouldnt trust due to torture and abuse...sigh

who would want a horse to ride that did that anyways?? its uncomfortable and unsafe...gentle smooth riding quiet animals...isnt that the way to go?? lets see those ppl train one like that...

  • POOR HORSE!!! -.-

  • grausam

  • Stupid animal abusers Someone should tie you to a poll and force you to dance on your sombrero. FAIL

  • @80sKatt i totally agree...sad thing is..they would laugh and maybe add that to their routines.....

  • i don't like that you can't see what the guy is doing, you can just see the crop every now and then. He's taking a fair concusion to his fore hand which is making me a lil puzzled.

  • ...The tail D:?!?!? wtf.

  • How do you know it's not fun? Are you that horse have you talked to that horse and it talked back heck the horse may do it for fun in the pasture so don't say it might not like it! He may have started then they recorded it !

  • @sadie1138 Of course animals can't talk therefore people have noticed their body language as a sign of discomfort/pain/fun. This horse is tossing his head, swishing his tail back and forth and he stops as soon as the whip is put down. Taking these noticeable body language's you can clearly tell the horse is not having fun doing this. If he has to be whipped to encourage him to do this and tied in place he is not having fun. The tail swishing and head tossing is him getting frustrated. You fail

  • thats sad...you should mke him do that for so long :(

  • do you believe this horse, this with pleasure does? It has absolutly no fun, at what must do it there.

  • what a beautiful horse but i dont think horses should be made to ''dance'' after all theyre horses not some sort of toy :L

  • @ilovemymagic Yes, I have watched this video a few times and have observed differently. The reaction I placed earlier is not a true reflection on what I see now - but I do still disapprove of the length of time which they continue at this. Mind you, that is my personal opinion. Let's just say if I were training I'd feel pretty bad about getting my horse to maintain a piaffe for so long.

  • Concrete does not move....look closely its wood. This horse is amazing. In the persons right hand is a whip of some sorts (you can see it over the horses hind quarters and it hardly moves. Even when the music stops the horse stops and the whip (whatever its technical name is sorry ) does not do anything drastic to say its hurting the horse. the persons other hand is clearly shown under the belly of the horse.

  • Los caballos también se cansan ojetes ,con 1 minuto es suficiente para que presumas tus adquisiciones ,Pinches ignorantes.

  • omfg, that is amazing horse, and piaffe is the hardest element on dressage, amazing

  • Pff.. be proud at it!! What's the man behind the horse doing? So the horse is doing this al by himself? Don't make me laugh....

  • wtf do you mean Piaffe. Yeah, tie a horse's head up and whip him once in a while - that should get him dancing. F*cking idiots.

  • @DesiretoFly01 his head is not tied up. There is a man holding him and he has slack on the lead. He is not whiping him he is tapping him, that is the que for the piaffe. They aren't idiots, they are getting this horse to preform a perfect piaffe with the exact right ques. They know what they're doing.

  • @ilovemymagic I agree with you on the second part, but if you look in the very beginning he's in cross ties. But yes they are little taps from the crop if any. sometimes you only have to hold it there and the horse preforms and sometime a little 'shake' or 'flick' is all they need. I think people just act overly sensitive on things they don't understand.

  • @ilovemymagic He actually does have it head tied. If you watch carefully, then you can clearly see the seperate leads on both sides of his head. But that's alright. Silly mistake.

I agree with the whole whip thing, yes it is horrible to whip horses or any other animals, but yes you are right about using it for a que.

  • @ilovemymagic actually the horse is tied up. thats obvious. between those two poles... and actually this isnt the best piaffe. hes lazy with his back legs. if he was taught to piaffe correctly, or wasnt bored with it, his back legs would be lifted higher.

  • @ilovemymagic Corrction his head is tied up, unless your blind and cant see that both poles have a chain coming off them to the horses halter, then watch it again......

  • @McFamouse No need to be so rude. It looks like the guy was holding him. My bad. Chill?

  • @ilovemymagic his head is tied up but not tied down. he could move his head and he is just tapping him with the whi[

  • @ilovemymagic You are right, he is only tapping him, but he is in cross ties if you look closely.

  • @DesiretoFly01 but I'd much rather see him do a shorter piaffe and then release his head.

  • did he just start up or did you have to que him?

  • it's a good piaffe, but what do you do to make him do it? he sometimes looked scared, and his tale is always beating...

  • @Marixxen2 Hes fine. The whip just gets him excited. There is a man on the other side simply tapping him on the behind with the whip. That is the que.

  • Pobre yegua, como la maltratan!!

  • Stunning horse, and well executed Piaffe, but do agree...the exercise is for too long! Sorry.

  • This is way to long for a horse to do piaffe. He is wringing his tail. He is stressed!! Why do you do this?

  • this horse seems to be too young for doing that so long. and look at the tail: the horse is stressed!

  • What a beautiful horse!!! He looks like he's enjoying his dance!!!

  • @7Ethereal7 i think he devenitly doesn`t look like he is enjoying his dance!!! watch his tail, he isn`t happy....that`s too long!!!!!!! no dressage horse has to do the piaffe that long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Mausiiiable I agree... He didnt look happy at all.

  • @deeallen2 3 words....suck. it. up.

your moaning is doing nothing. :)

  • OMG! Leave that horse alone. Cant you see that he is tierd???

  • daaamn... it is to long and hard for him to do this... I can't understand it -.-'

  • it's to long for him to do that. it's very hard for him to take so long to keep.

  • i'd like to see more engagement in his hind, but he's very lovely and his piaffe is nicely synced. beautiful horse.

  • Si los hermanos cardenas vieran lo que le han hecho a este bello animal, de seguro solamente se taparian la cara en verguenza al ver como lo han hechado a perder. lastima

  • I would like to see him use his hindquarters better. He hardly has any impulsion from the hind and often messes up the rhythm.

  • gotta ignore the youtube experts they are every where .

he is georgious btw verry nice movement :) he looks liek a real romeo ;)

  • he looks happy to do it for you. people if he didint want to do it that long he wouldnt, hes a horse, you cant force him to do t if hes not comfortable with it. hes beautifull!

  • @deeallen2 will you get over yourself, grow up and get a life! if you have a big fancy stallion you train him your way to do a piaffe...i doubt very much you do...so stop arguing about something im pretty sure you dont know an awful lot about! when you buy a stallion and train it do piaffe in a better way then feel free to tell us all and post videos...untill then shut ur trap!

  • ...i just fell in love with your stallion!

    he is absolutly gorgeous.

is he still standing at stud?

  • Look, if the horse didn't want to do it, the horse wouldn't. Just think, how much bigger is a horse compared to a human?! Lots, so if it bothered him that much, he would let you know and he really wouldn't do it.

  • @gibbuzz yea or hed act up and start rearing as best as he can on the ties . people are so dumb -_-

  • wie heißt den sie Musik also das Lied?

  • esta bonito el video

  • His tail flicking probably means hes agitated. Geeze. This poor horse.

  • zieliggg echt heel zielig

  • gorgeous ! and beautiful horse :)

  • is torture

    uncivilized

  • nice, its getting a workout like horses should get..

  • nice.. its getting a workout like all horses should, stupid people

  • Hmmmm... in Piaffe the horse is supposed to move foreword, how can he move foreword in cross ties?

  • @HoRseSeNce95 the horse is in a crosstie. its bred to do this well. and a piaffe requires little to NO forward movement at all. learn your gaits and moves before you criticize please

  • @Deexeh In case you did not notice the horses front legs are being lifted higher than his back, this is caused by to much collected energy, as a result of a lack of output for that collected energy via, foreword movement.

  • armes pferd

  • LOOK, this horse is showing natural beauty, the guy isnt whipping the horse, the horse is DANCING. IT'S NOT CONCRETE, HORSES DANCE TO MUSIC U KNOW, DUHH,SO RESEARCH NEGLECT, AND GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT. btw, good job horsey:)

  • @Maccaranahorse THEY WOULDNT BE NEGLECTING A HORSE AROUND ALITTLE GIRL

  • take a chill evryone. like you all slabbering at each other is going to change anything anyway.

  • is the floor hot, so he is jumping? cause he wouldn't do that

  • beautiful horse, but I think that is too long on cross ties to be doing that, why don't you just let him be a horse?

  • how much.?

  • ESO NO ES BAILAR, ESO SE LLAMA PIAFE

  • @deeallen2 obviously it is one as they are training him for piaffe.. and it is not cruel. He is completley capable of doing the piaffe for the extended amount of time, and he does it quite well. if a horse cannot do something they will give up- he has not given up, thus he is capable. Besides, look at the amount of muscle on him, he has no problems whatsoever.

  • beutiful horse

  • That's a very tall horse, what breed is it

  • poor horse!!! you could at least pick up the shit!!

  • he atleast does his job and does it well ad a horse can dance for hours to come...look @ that tail go:)

  • poor horse ...... :'(

  • in dressage they do it for 10-12 steps in the highest level. which takes maybe fifteen seconds long. this was maybe 90 steps. thats way too much. even for a muscular horse like that its really hard on his joints to do it continuously for nearly two minutes.

  • this isnt too long. in dressage they'll do it longer

  • Cual Yegua compro?

  • @yonizamora

  • Oh my God you people are ridiculous. Yes, I agree the horse was doing it wayyyy too long. HOWEVER, having a horse piaffe isn't a form of neglect. Otherwise, everything we do with horses would be neglect. I don't see anyone bitching about jumping, barrel racing, dressage, cross country, roping, reining, etc. No one is bitching about the certain gates that owners train their horses to do. An example would be the Tennessee Walker. As for the coloring, it is normal for an Andalusian. Stop bitching.

  • @92lifesabeach look at any video with a horse on youtube and you will always see someone who yells abuse. It's inevitable, lol. Everyone is an expert in the horse world.

  • @Stace1319 This is true, lol. Ehh, we all have our opinions. I for one, would not have my horse do this for a long period of time.

  • @92lifesabeach agreed

  • baila bien ehh y la vdd se ve que seria un buen semental!!!! que fierro es?? tiene cara de maipe!

  • @deeallen2 a grey horse changes all his life. It just gets lighter. I have seen dark 3 year olds turn white. there is no such thing as a true white horse. Of course this could also be an old black horse I cant see its teeth but I doubt it considering the lack of white in any other place except the face in this horse. Lippizaners are born black and slowly turn white they dont turn white until a mature age and both of these breeds are baroque,

  • @deeallen2 someone asked what happened to his face. I said it was a young horse and would slowly turn white and its starting to turn on its face.

  • poor horse :(

  • @deeallen2 I hate to break it 2 u, there is more than 1 way 2 train a horse...and not all people molly cuddle their horses. and as iv said b4 if that stallion was being mistreated it would not be performing, it would lash out and those guys would be in hospital. its working, its getting tired, its a difficult movement, of corse its gna look messy in training, everythin isnt a dream world wer u whisper sweet nothings to a horse to get it to do things, truth hurts, get over it

  • that's ORRIBLE poor horse...S:

  • hhaha you people dont know anything about horses! this horse is gorgeous and does it perfectly i'd like to see either one of you train a horse to do that ;) I really like your horse its beautiful!
